Ms sucks How do I treat is with Steroids.

I'm new with all this SO I WOULD APPRECITE YOUR HELP. I suffer from multiple sclerosis. Anyone who knows anything about the disease knows it raises havoc on you body. Anyways, I have been doing research and many MS patients have found relief in their weakned limbs from steroids.

My problem is, I have no Idea where or how I should start.

I'm:
6' tall
206 lbs

Before I was diagnosed, could squat almost 500lbs and bench easily around 325 lbs. Now that's gone....time to go outside the box.

ANY HELP IS WELCOME. MOSTLY WHERE I SHOULD START.

Have you talked to your doctor about this? It's not uncommon for MS patients to be prescribed steroids, although they won't let you self-inject because it's generally administered intravenously.
 
I talked with my dr, he said "hey you.ve tried everything else." the iv steroids they give patients only help to reduce inflammation.

I would think you wouldn't need anymore than a testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) dose if you did it , which is around 200mg a week. Are you still able to lift?
 
I can still lift, my bench press is way down and legs are VERY WEAK that's why balance is so bad and a weakened lower back. I have plenty of free weights at home and a stationary bike.

im sorry J FOXX what is TRT? I have no idea what you're talking about. An injection or pill. 8 yrs of MS I've had to give myself so many injections, they dobnt.t bother me.

do you think the testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) will help me or is there anything else I need? how about energy levels, with MS my energy is almost gone. I used to be able to GO, GO, GO!!!!!! NO MORE.

With what has been studied most men who go on test tend to get some of their energy back but never what it used to be. Remeber MS is literally destroying you from the inside out, and while test helps stave off some of the more devastating effects of MS it is not a cure. MS will in time take over as it was before. Sorry about your situation but gladd to see ur trying to do something about it.

Have you looked i to low doses of naltrexone and HGH. It seems that these two are showing good results for MS patients.

:jump:OK GUYS THIS ROOKIE NEEDS YOUR HELP!!! I was lifting yesterday but didn't realize until HOW WEAK MY BACK AND RIGHT LEG IS!!!! now a couple of you guys said TEST and another said HGH. whichever or BOTH I need some help fast!!!!!!!!!!!!

You will c very little difference with hgh alone. If ur going to do test and hgh i would personally do a lot of research both what they both do conjoined in a cycle and how it is used for treating MS. In many MS cases more is not better. You really need to sit research and see what ur going to do. I would have thought by now u would have done this. There is no miracle cure at the end of a pin bud. Not trying to be condisending or mean or nasty but of all folks, people with diseases like MS need to do A HELL OF A LOT OF RESEARCH before starting anything and you should go through your doctor for everything. Theres a lot that YOU need to do before starting any Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) much less a cycle.

It's not me who would be offended man, I know very little about MS besides that its an unfortunate thing to have :(. I feel for you and wish you the best of luck in finding answers to your questions.
