muscular dysmorphia

Thanks but rather put "looked good:("
I am over 35 and my goals now is to be doing the same routine at 60!
The weights and cardio that is,fuck I really enjoy it and can't wait to get back in full swing.
It can be done but routine must be modified with age, like no more shoulder press behind neck, fewer 1-2 rep sets and greater rest between muscle groups.
Even if you never make it don't stop trying....failure is that much closer to sucess :afro:

Gotcha I just glanced through the post and thought it was recent.

i would say atleast everyone of us on this forum suffers from it atleast somewhat. we are obviously not totally happy with our bodies or see things out of perspective in the mirror..hence why we will pump our selfs full of hormones and risk legal issues to just look better.

I do not think I look good either, but I just keep pluggin away at the gym and try eating right. The biggest problem I have is always having to go to the gym at the times I want - vacations kill me. I'm planning on going to Greece with my girlfriend this summer, but we will be staying with her family, probably no time to workout for a month or so. Because of this, I am thinking about not going.

By all means go to Greece--its great and you can get your exercise some other way--lots of walking, running, calisthenics, occasionally finding a gym. Swimming if you are going to the islands--travelling is the best thing you can do with your money--experiences are what life is all about.

True you got your cardio to run uphill, calf raises on stairs, pull ups on swings and lots of crunches!!!!

Yes, I was thinking about trying to find a gym around the neighborhood if it was possible. Lol another reason why I thought it might be weird for me to go to Greece is the fact that I'm Asian and I'm going out w. a Greek girl and we're going to a country that isn't as diverse as it is in the US. We already get a few looks in NY, who knows what kinda looks we might get in Greece :insane2:

Think about it, you can def eat healthy and at leaset find a gym for a few workouts.. In the grand scheme of things this month can actually help you.

This is very true. Plans have not yet been made, it's still in the air and I was getting a bit worried. I don't know, I guess I do have a bit of muscle dysmorphia. :(

But if we do end up going to Greece, I will most definitely make the most out of it :)
