My blood tests, like to hear opinions

Hello to everybody,

I am new to this forum, and I would like to ask you guys for some advices.

I am 29 years old and i experience low or no libido with some ED, also often bad mood and cognitive problems..
I had very stresfull job in the past, matter of fact i had a few stresfull years in generally (parrents, job, girlfriend..)
When I was around 16, I was taking steroids (3 cycles). First cycle was methandrostenolone (100 pills), then propionate and deca durabolin, and enanthate and deca durabolin (I cant remmember what dosages was, I just know it was all stupid nonsense)

So i went to check my blood, to see whats happening with my hormone balance last month and got back results, on which I can see:

- low free T 5.07 pg/ml
- high estrogen 42.49 ng/L

I am waiting for a prescriptions doctor prescribed me. He said I will get T gel which I must use every night before sleep, and twice a week Arimidex 0.50mg.

I would like to hear some opinions about other hormones, thyroid, DHEA..which are shown in attachments, because I'm new to those things.

Thank you very much!

Height: 184 cm
Weight 94kg

I dont use any medications, or drugs.

Before i didnt even know what HPTA is, neither doctor didnt mention it.

Which blood test should i be concerned of and when after starting with my protocol?

-Total and free testosterone
-estradiol
-hematocrit
-hemoglobin
-RBC
-lipids
-liver values

Yoir dose of Arimidex is going to be too much. Best practice is to avoid taking it until bloodwork and symptoms dictate that it's necessary.

.5mg 2x/wk is enough to drive estradiol too low in most men. As long as your dose of testosterone cream is reasonable, you shouldn't have any issues that require Arimidex.

But i already have high E2, you think it wont raise even higher when i will start using T gel?
What about other values thyroid (Rt3 is kinda low?) Progesterone, DHEA like i asked before.. anybody?

Thank you!

First of all, I wouldn't consider your E2 to be high. Double or triple it and then it will be high. Second, when you start taking exogenous testosterone the HPTA feedback loop closes. This changes everything. So I wouldn't use your current Natty E2 levels as an indicator of what your TRT E2 levels will be. You very well may need and AI while on TRT, but it is a powerful medication and a low dose usually suffices

I still think you should try an HPTA restart before committing to TRT. This may help optimize your DHEA and progesterone levels too

Getting restarted or on TRT would likely help your thyroid a little. You are not hypothyroid though so I don't think an doctor would prescribe you a medication.

i wouldn't exactly consider your test levels "low".. not trt low at least

Isnt 5.07 pg/ml of free T in a scale of 60 or 70 years old?
And estrogen normal values about 20-30 ng/L?

I am not saying this because of "normatives" only... but i have many symptoms of low T

-decreased libido
-brain fog
-irrational thinking
-anxiety...

your free test is a bit low.. what is the s-testosterone test?? is that your total serum?

Unlike IGF-1, there is no table of age-adjusted ranges for TT.

The range in common use (labcorp, 300-1100) comes from the Framingham heart study and is based on men 18-40, so it already excludes 60 and 70 year olds.

Your E2 isn't really that high. This wasn't a sensitive test so I'd expect your actual E2 value to be a bit lower than this test states.

Megatron touched on the reason why your pre TRT E2 isn't a good indicator of what your E2 will be during treatment. Either way, it's always best to wait until bloodwork and symptoms dictate that you need Anastrozole. That shit is powerful and it doesn't take much to crush your E2...which is an extremely miserable experience.

As far as progesterone and DHEA are concerned, I wouldn't address those concerns until after you've been able to get your TRT treatment dialed in. Adding so many medications/supplements at once won't allow you to be able to determine which ones are causing positive or negative effects.

Your rT3 value makes me think that this was a lab error or something. Your other thyroid hormones don't look terrible, but your rT3 is so far out of whack that it's almost hard to believe that reading.
