My diet vs. anabolic diet

So I know that different people have different ideas on eating and training and I have read that when I start my cycle I have to "eat big". Well has anyone done and anabolic diet while cycling? Seems like you would have no energy during the week but maybe I am wrong.
Right now I am consuming just over 3000 calories per day. A breif example of my daily diet would be 5-8 eggs, yogurt, and some granola for breakfast, shake about 1 hour after that, then some snack like trail mix or almonds about 1-2 hours later. then for lunch usually some kind of meat, some greens, and a carb usually half a sweet pot. of some rice with green beans and tomato. after noon snacks more of the same. On gym days I alo hve another shake post and pre workout as well as a peanut butter sandwich post gym. Dinner is pretty much the same as lunch and then some yogurt, milk and casein before bed. If I were to switch to the anabolic diet it would be meat, cheese, nuts and veg. all week and breads and other carbs on weekends?
I am about to run d-bol and test e and I need some advice on the diet... I am 30yrs old, 200lbs, 16.5 body fat and am pretty active besides my gym time. Thanks for the help!

I tried the anabolic diet for 2 weeks and felt like i had no energy in the gym...Monday pumps were fukin unbeleivable though.
But i gota say i didnt try it long enough to overcome the initial loss of energy stage, wich is suppost to be like 2 weeks. I felt like shit so i quit that diet.

Eating bacon in the morning, i have to admit, was very pleasing hehe...but i didnt stick with it.

The diet im doing right now is really good and im never starved, and i lost 7 pounds in the last 3 weeks. Its like a carb cycling...I love it, its a 3J diet.

Were all differant..I eat what I want..just not enough..fried chicken with red bean s and rice last..steak and sweet potatoes prior to that and 3 other small feedings...fruit all day..oh...butter pecan ice cream before bed help s me sleep.

I tried the anabolic diet out when I first got serious about lifting. I did lose a decent amount of fat (first time I was able to see veins), but I feel like there are better options out there. I personally like carb cycling and will probably alway stick with it or some variation of it.

All you can do is try it out and see how it goes. However, if you do try the anabolic diet, you will feel like shit for the first two weeks or so as stated above. If you're going to do it, give it at least a month and a half. I know some people have a hard time just in the first two weeks. I would also suggest buying the book or finding it somewhere. I found it very helpful.

your really going to have to define anabolic diet... there are many nutritionists that will say their diet is an anabolic diet..

the word is used loosely..

I see. I have read his book and he has a unique insight to how dieting should be.

100% agree with your first statement... We are all different. If there's one thing I have learned in all my training years, it's that genetics plays a huge role. One diet for one may not work for the other.

One mantra of my diet has been to avoid mixing carbs and fats in the same meal as they are competing energy sources. Has helped me stay lean and maintain muscle throughout the years. In all my meals I try to get at least 30-40g protein.

We are all different as Teutonic and wutangnomo1 mentions, I tried a cyclical ketogenic diet (CKD) which is what the anabolic diet is under 3J's guidance. We unfortunately found My body just couldnt function normally during the no carb stage even after the initial 2 week period.
3J then put me on a targeted ketogenic diet (TKD) which is when carbs are ingested before and after training and its working a treat :) You really need to find what works for you, trial and error my friend.

Thanks for all the replies guys. I will look into it a little more and when I start something I will update o the diet and cycle progress.

Jman if you are serious about dieting and lifting, then 3J is highly recommended!!! I have used him before for over 6 moths and have seen the best results I could hope for. And for the price you might waste on some bs supplements tht won't get you what you want, you could pay for his service and you will not be disappointed. I would rather pay him for his diet service than pay for some miracle supplement that won't get you where you want.
