My first cycle(updating daily)

Stats: 25yrs(turning 26 on 8/26) 5'6 current weight as of 8/6 is 151lbs train everyday and bf% 10-12%. The gear: test prop 100 (taking 125 eod so about 440 a week), Exemestane as an ai and also using it during my pct (taking 12.5mg ed and will adjust depending on how i feel), and a clomid(50mg ed). I did my very first pin on Monday (8/4)and felt no pain as I did it. Did it on the glute. Needle was 25 x 1. Took a small nap after pin and woke up with a small pain. Since then my glute has been feeling very sore. Today I'm doing my second pin on my other glute and also I'll be starting to take the Exemestane. Tomorrow is legday but I'm guessing I'm going to skip it becuase of soreness and will start once my glutes get used to it. Diet: my macros are set and I have been loosing about a lb a week. 40fat 195carbs and 210 protein. I made this post becuase I wanna update it with pics and ask questions if any comes up or if you guys just want to give advice. The pic i attached was taken on jul 16 and was at 154-155. Haven't taken a more recent pic of in my current weight 151lbs

usually you can tell within a few hours that the oil didn't make it into the muscle. the area will swell and you may have a lump under your skin. my first couple pins i was scared to put the 1" all the way in my thigh and the oil got injected into my fat. the next day the oil seeped down to my knee and it swelled up like a baloon.

1" may be a bit short for glutes...i use a 1.5".

also try to time your workouts so it doesn't get effected by pip (post injection pain). for example, i pin delts on mondays cuz i dont work delts in the gym till wednesday and by then the pain is gone. i pin quads on thursday cuz i dont do legs till tuesday. PIP gets better, but for some it's still always there throughout the whole cycle, and if you pin a muscle and work that muscle right after, it makes the PIP 10X worse
 
Wow thank you for the quick reply. I was just curious because I saw a post on a guy saying he uses 5/8 needles for his glutes and he is fine. He said he didn't have any of the effects of a small needle and I got curious as to what they were.

yikes...he must have really low BF. subQ (into fat) injections are ok for trt doses, but for large quantities of oil it can be painful
 
i use 5/8 for delts...havent had problems as long as i BURY it. 1 inch is nerve territory for me in the delts....freaks me out lol
 
Ya i hear ya, i could get away with 5/8 anywhere but glutes, i use in and dont even push it all the way in, lol. But man, you have to be fuckin shredded to use 5/8 in glutes and have it get into the muscle.
 
Same thing I was thinking... I see everyone uses 1 or 1 1/2 and out if no where I saw a guy saying he uses 5/8 lol... The 1 seems to work good for me but I'm a small guy. Ps is it normal for the picture to come out sideways :spin:

I'm pretty lean myself, and always go with the 1". Tried to switch to 1.5 at one point, and....yikes. We have very similar stats, i'm 26, 5'8, floating between 147-150 lbs. I look forward to hearing and seeing your results brother. I'm waiting to start my newest cycle after 1 year of nothing but good ol' natural lifting. So deffinatly keep us posted
 
OP you have a great base to start with man...good natty work. what are your goals for this cycle? cut, bulk....

I'm cutting..... I'm at 2k calories and loosing about a lb a week with no cardio what so ever. Thank you for the compliments since lately all I've been getting is people telling me I lost 2 much weight. I guess they got used to see me bulky
 
My only concern is when is this pip going away lol I love to train legs and do it twice a week but I don't see myself doing them with this pain.... I'm a puss when it comes to needles lol so pinning anywhere else is going to be hard. I love that my gf is doing it for me and I don't see or feel anything
