my GP test e cycle..

bellweather

malcontent extrovert
29 yrs old
6'1" 210lbs

running 750mg ew GP test e

1 week in right now. all 3 inj so far have been smooth. no pain.

still no noticeable gains, but it is early still..

up untill i started this cycle i have reached what i feel my natural plataeu. ive been dieting hardcore for years and years, but specifically following my bulk diet for about 5 months and made great natty gains, but theyve reached their barrier. i cant break these numbers for the life of me:

squat: 335x5
bench: 235x5
dead: 385x5

hoping this cycle will bump me over the edge.. i'll update periodically

both

when i start noticing strength gains i will increase my calories even more to compensate. i know my body and if i increase my calories before my strength goes up i will just put on BF. fucking genetics.

why do you ask? can you give me a tip?

thanks bro

everyone is different...but when i dropped my reps down to 3-5 reps for my work sets and not including my warmups i did 2-3 very heavy worksets (ex: deads-45x10, 135x10. 185x8, 225x6, 275x3, 315x3, 365x3, 415x3, 465x3, 515x3, 565x3) my traps went nuts and basically same mindset for chest and squat my body got stronger than ever and also i put on more size. more of a pl routine though.

thanks man, i will give it a try. ive been doing the reg park program, which the core of is basically squats, bench, and deads 5x5 each, 3x/week. though i modified a bit so i dont overtrain.

do you not feel too prefatigued doing all those warm-up sets? i usually carry a half gallon of OJ during my workouts to keep me fueled. old arnold trick. i will give it a try though.

thanks for the advice man..

4th inj today. a little sting.. but it might have been because i didnt aspirate. i know, shut up. i was in a hurry, sue me.

anyway.. my next workout will be tomorrow around noon, i will report any strength change..

cheers

day 11..

5th inj.. slight pain but no biggie. still no changes to report..

check back on thursday..

thanks for following guys..

yea i would love for it to be day 25..

day 14.. 6th inj. no pain.

my workout today was really good. felt strong. no weight increases on the barbell but the reps came with ease today, whereas a couple weeks ago i was struggling to get 5 of everything today all my 5th reps were cake. i def could have gone up in weight but im tryin to play this smart so next week ill go up. im no hurry to injure myself again. ive been down that road too many times. besides, the strength i gained today could easily have been all natty considering how hardcore im dieting and sleeping.

im considering adding my deca in around week 4-5.. any thoughts??

cheers

day 17.. 7th inj. smooth again..

i feel a little different. nothing major, just maybe a little bigger/stronger than usual. im up 3 lbs on same diet. again, nothing i would call unnatural. buttt.. i feel fat. wtvr.

tman: i tell you what bro.. i took your advice and performed about 6 warm up sets, slightly increasing weight and slow non-explosive ROM leading up to my heaviest sets, and whoa baby what a difference it made. i can see the logic in it, especially coming from the neuro standpoint. but i definitely felt like my body was better prepared for the heavy stuff after those warmups. squat bench and deads alike. at my age with my contraindications it is a great method for me. thanks for the advice man, it really made a diff..

Why would you ad deca at week 4 as the ester will take so long to kick in?

I have to say i can understand why your numbers are not going up, if your doing a meet every training session:)

It would be nice if you could log a day or two of your exercises!

would there be a better time to add deca in or just wait till next cycle?

i will log my workout for sure when i get a little more time.. right now im off to dayton to play music..

see ya 2mro!

Start it next cycle straigth away and finish a week or two before you finish the test(because of the long ester).

Yeah man, i would like to see how you set up a split like that. I love learning about training and get new ideas but this site is mostly concerned about aas, which is a shame.

Yeah ^^^ what he said. Is there a reason you didnt start your deca right off the bat bro?

i originally wanted to run this cycle straight test e. theres been a bit a bit of controversy over this lot of gp test e so i wanted to run it alone and see for myself.

i ordered some gp deca with it. i also have some axio sust on the way. i was going to run the gp deca with the sustaplex on my next cycle, but then i thought it might not be best to mix ugl's.

but its all good. believe me im in no rush whatsoever. i'll finish this cycle on the test e and update often.

day 19: 8th inj. smooth. thats about it. no workout till 2mro. i'll post my results.

here's my workout breakdown:
ive been working out consistently for about 11 years now, and i work full time and am currently taking grad school classes part time. plus im in an active indie rock band, and volunteer for the local big brother/big sister program twice a week with my girlfriend. oh and i have a girlfriend.

this is just to let you know a little of my life and schedule.

i dont follow a precise split routine anymore and i dont crunch my numbers each week like the newbies. i know my strength and my body has learned to tell me what i can do.

when i work out, i go balls out. everytime. i do not finish untill the tank is empty.

so this is what i do in no particular order in the week..

once a week: squats/bench/deads 5x5 of each. i will usually compound set squats w/ squat jumps, bench w/ pushups, and deads w/ pullups to make it a bit more dynamic. though, after following tman's advice about adding more warmup sets with small increasing increments, i found my body responds to this much better and i go a little stronger. so now it more like 8x5 of everything. give or take a rep or two depending on which set im on.

twice a week: core compound workout. difficult to explain in type, but basically alot of core work with bosu/yoga ball, medicine ball, and balance training i.e. one-legged and plank one-legged modifications of different exercises.
ex: reverse bosu ball pushups w/ runners supered with burpee/plank alternate dumbell row/burpee/standing shoulder press x 10 w/40 lb. dumbells.
i do about 5 or 6 supersets of exercises similar to this in difficulty.

6 days a week: 45 min sprint intervals on crosstrainer. crunches. pullups. pushups. squat jumps.

i play basketball whenever i feel risky. i have so many fucked up contraindications, playing basketball has injured me a few times. lateral explosive movements are dangerous for me. not 3 months ago i tore my plantar tendon in my calf playing basketball.

working out like this keeps me sore and strong pretty much all the time.

ok i wanted to post my diet too but that was exhausting lol. i'll post that a little later. i can tell you i fucked up and went to dayton and got drunk and ate some mcd's at 4am. i feel like a fkn fatty today lol.

cheers

im definitely going to keep tabs on this....there are way too many mixed emotions from people with GP and I really do want to try it but still on the fence about it
