My S4/GW Cycle Log (Sponsored by Sarms Search)

First things first, I started dieting with 3j about 6 weeks ago. I'm 6'0 38yrs old and started @ 252lbs and 29% BF (dexa-scan). At one point I lost 10lbs, but I'm not sure how, but this week I was back up to 250lbs, but I feel better and believe I look better.

I didn't want to do another dexa-scan so soon, but I wanted everyone to see where I am right now at the start of this cycle log, so I will be getting one this morning and posting the results. I'm a little worried about the results, but such is life.

I'll be dosing the S4 at 50mg split 25mg twice a day and the GW at 10mg once a day. I may eventually up the GW to 10mg twice a day. My biggest concern is the vision sides. In my line of work my eyes have to adjust quickly to light and dark. Some of you can probably figure out what I do for a living.

I'm going to run this for 8 weeks and will get another dexa-scan at the end as well as provide some before and after pics.

Currently my training consists of Leo Costas "Big Beyond Belief" and 25min of steady state cardio 5 days a week. I have had good results on this program in the past.

I'll be back soon with Dexa-scan results. Wish me luck!

P.S. Huge THANKS to psizzle for giving me the opportunity to run the SARMS!!

great man...i'll be following. Love SS products. Can't beat the quality.

Out of curiosity, how did you go about getting a dexa scan? I tried, but my insurance wouldn't cover it without a doctor's referral with a worthy diagnosis. My doc was willing to work with me and wrote "chronic shin splints and concerned about bone density" on the referral and even that wasn't enough to get my insurance on board.

Thanks. Well as far as the Dexa-scan I guess I am lucky. There is a couple who just started a mobile dexa-scan company. They travel to gyms in my area. I just email them when I need a scan and they tell me where they are gonna be. I pay $75 out of pocket.

Went and did 30min of cardio on an ellyptical this morning. Felt good 30min went by quick. Quads felt pumped, but not fatigued. Tomorrow will be a training day. I'm hoping to start feeling this stuff this week.

Kick in is pretty quick man, usually 3-4 days. After kick in only 1-2 minutes between set and you're completely recovered. Cardio is out of control after kick in. I'm waiting for that post lol

So I just hit the gym and did:

Everything is 5 sets x 13-15 reps with 1:30 rest

Hammer rows- 115lbs (per side)
DB incline flyes- 35lbs (my bicep tendon where it ties to my shoulder/pec is acting up)
Seated DB curls- 30lbs
Seated calf raise machine- 300 lbs

Then 25min of steady state cardio. The workout went well, but the pec tie in issue I have is still lingering. I can still get a decent workout in though. Not really noticing anything out of the ordinary yet. If anything it took a little more effort to get my heart rate up. Maybe the GW starting to do its thing.

The effects will sneak up on you. You're not gonna one day wake up to intense stuff happening internally...

The way I recognize s4 is kicking in: I'll flex and my muscles will start feeling hard as rocks. I also notice fat loss from my midsection, arms too, depending on diet of course. But when I'm on point, s4 really shines.

Gw: example....I was walking to class and realized I wasn't winded. That was a few years ago and the first time I really understood how gw kicks in and starts working. You'll realize that if you got winded doing certain tasks before, you won't now.

When I'm on GW I can literally pop in The Dark Knight (or another longer film) and do cardio til the credits roll. It's awesome. I have to be conscious of it though and stop myself before I wear myself out and not even know it's happening.

Just do your thing and the Sarms will do their job, trust me.

So I did some shoulders thus morning. I felt good. I threw up 65's for 5 sets of 13-15 on seated DB presses. I did a drop set on the last one. Recovery between sets was fast. 1:30 rest periods and I was raring to go.

I definitely started feeling the effects of the GW already. I did my 25min of cardio after my workout and I felt like I could have kept pace for an hour, but I had to get to work. Normally I'm breathing heavy mouth open during the last few minutes. Now I'm good to go. I even had to slow down a few times because I want to stay in a fat burning zone than a cardio zone.

Definitely gonna use GW whenever I get back into jiu jitsu.

There ya go! That's how it begins my friend. Get ready to have some fun!

Will be interested in seeing how the GW assists in your BJJ training. Definitely include that in your log. Between the cardio and muscular endurance benefits from the GW and the strength from the S4, should be pretty awesome!

It probably won't be for a while. I stopped my MMA training because I was getting too many injuries. As a 38yrs old doing it for hobby there is not a whole lot of upside competing. Plus I recently took a pay cut when I switched jobs and can't afford the membership at the moment. When I get back to it I will surely let you know!

hell yes, im in!

And it only get better man. I'm excited about your future post over the next few weeks.

Hell I'm getting excited just seeing how excited you guys are haha. I'm usually a see it to believe it kind of guy, so if I say I see it you know it's the real deal. Hopefully I see it in the mirror haha.

Thanks guys. This motivates me.

I have a few friends that do MMA that's ask me to join. About half of the front of my grill is fake so i quickly told them hell no. The idea and all is cool but I'm 33 it'll never go anywhere for me and I like my perfect smile. So I totally understand you getting out of it. I mentally prioritized during my decision making in favor of staying away from it, and sounds like that what you did getting away from it.

The biggest part for me is the fact that where I am employed I do not qualify for state disability as we don't pay into it. Therefore if I get hurt and have to be off work for a long period of time I wouldn't be getting paid.

I really wanted to do a cage fight before I turned 40, but it doesn't look like it's in the cards. It's not like Ive never been in a fight before, but I really wanted to prove to myself that I could get in there and hold my own.

I started training again a year ago mainly to be a good role model for my kids. I always tell them I would never ask them or expect them to do something I wouldn't do myself. They both enjoyed watching me compete. They were my strength in both tournaments that I did. I medaled in both.

Well yesterday was my son's birthday and he wanted pizza hut, so last night I had pizza and cake. Today was supposed to be a day off from the gym, but since I felt guilty I punished myself with 45min of cardio this morning.

The cardio is going really well since starting the SARMS. I hate cardio, but I think I'm starting to like it!
