Need advice on Deadlifts and squat..

First my stats.. 35 years old, 220lb , 5'8"

Lately Ive been trying to work on my forms.. and work on my deadlifts and squats.. never really did much deads and squats.. cuz of back pain and thoughts of getting my legs huge..

Been watching a lot of vids.. but kinda confused.. cuz lot of the vids make sense.. but different technics..

IF my back hurts doing deads... Does that mean I have bad form? IF my knees hurt..does that mean I ahve bad form?

Im pretty sure Im doing my deads right.. most import is back right? but after deads it hurts for couple days..dont really lift much.. but now I get it to 4 plates...

other area I ahve problems..is my squats.. I cant do more then 3 plates... even 315 is damn heavy..I can only do 1 rep..

I try to go ass to the grass.. but just cant do 315 easy.. am I doing it wrong? I see guys do 315 easy.. btu like half way down.. that I dont really consider a rep..

Anyone have a link to good form on deads and squats? like youtube vid..
 
I think your first sentence answers your question. You stated you haven't done them much. If your form is good you have no worries, just increase your weights slowly. If your having trouble with 315 decrease the weight and work up to it, same thing with deadlifts.
