Last night I woke at 3am freezing cold, with chills and shakes and couldn't get warm. Now I have muscle/joint pain, headaches and diarhea, I'm fairly certain it's zinc poisioning as I recently changed the zinc I was using. This has now got me thinking about cutting back my OTC supps to the bare essentials and could really use some advice/input of what I should keep/cut and why.
Here's what I'm on:
• Betaine HCL – 650mg with every meal (6 a day) - I have issues with low stomach acid
• Fish oil – 12x 1g tablets (divided into 3x 4 tabs at morning, lunch or Pre, night)
• Multi-vitamin – 1 a day
• Vitamin C – 9x 500mg tablets (divided into 3x 3 tabs morning, pre and night)
• Vitamin E – 2x 500iu tablets (1 at morning and night)
• GABA – 1000mg at night
• NAC – 2x 600mg tablets (1 at morning and night)
• Green Tea Extract – 2x 500mg tablets (1 at morning and lunch or pre)
• Evening Primrose Oil – 3x 1000mg tablets (2 at morning, 1 at night)
• Ginko Biloba – 2x 120mg tablet (1 at morning and lunch or pre)
• Vitamin D3 – 6000iu a day
• Calcium Citrate – 500mg morning - recommended by Austinite when on Raloxifene
• Vitamin B complex – 1 at morning
• Magnesium Citrate – 800mg night - will be dividing this dose to 400mg PWO and 400mg before bed
• Biotin – 7500mcg at morning - to help with hair growth
• MSM – 1500mg at morning - to help with hair growth
• Bacopa – 300mg pre
• Zinc – 90mg (30 mg morning, 60mg at night) -noticed that my Multi has 15mg zinc already so I might drop this to just 30mg morning and night or even 30mg just at night
• Huperzine-a – 200mcg at morning
• Melotonin – 5x at night
• 10g BCAAs – morning and pre
• Spirulina – morning and PWO
• Maca – morning - saw Austinite recommended this for anyone on TRT
• L-Glutamine – 7.2g morning and PWO
• ALCAR – 1.6g morning and pre
• Creatine – 3.3g pre and post
• Citrulline Malate – 3.4g pre
• Beta Alanine – 1.5mg pre and post
• Acetyl Tyrosine – 1g morning and pre
• Taurine – 1.1g morning, pre and PWO
• Benefibre – 2x teaspoons morning
Could really use some advice here, think that this abundance of OTC supps may be hurting more than it's helping.
