ok, my bench is not stuck per say, but it is moving at a snail pace compared to everything else. over 3 months ago i took a month off from training due to new addition to family. before that layoff i was hittin 250 bench for reps of +/-5 and it was steadily moving. now i am strugglin to hit 215x2 today.
now here is the crazy part my sqts and deads are jumpin up 5-10 lbs a work out right now. my sqt is at its strongest it has been so far and deads are moving quickly back to were they were before i too time off.
my routine is based off of PB's routine, with very little change to it.
some thing like this:

D1
bench work

D2
tire pull/drags & sand bag traing 25-35 min

D3
deads/back

3 days off

D4
sqts/legs

D5
tire pull/drag & sand bag training 25-35 min

2 days off

start over

every other work out i change up exercises (ie, BB bench, becomes rack bench, BB sqts become front SQT, deads become rack pulls) then i rotate back to the starting exercises. also every wt training day i do 10 min pre/post work out cardio+20 min total of cardio.

so what or were am i going wrong here. when i was benching 250 i was doing a full body work out 2x a week.

my diet if it comes up is a TCD. based off of what IA posted over on his board. so this may have wee bit to do with it, but i doubt it as everything else is moving upward.

my experience has been that bench/upper body strength leaves faster and returns slower than legs when you take time off . possibly due to useing the legs more in day to day life but thats just a guess . i would keep doing what your doing and give it another month or 2 .

Dadawg do you suspect the tire pull/drags may also be helping my SQT/deads? as it appears i am beating them both all the time by doin this. were as my chest is barely being hit comparitively.

it could definately explain it , or at least part of the difference .

Ask Winter for help. He told me to incorporate a speed session every week, it's really helped me and him a lot. And other friends too

i may a 2nd bench only lift to my sqt day..do a reg leg work and then a lighter bench right after that...i wanna try and keep my work out schedule the same and i love PB's routine.

you need to at a minimum work chest once every 7 days.
by reading over this i just realized i hit it every 10days...were eithter directly or inderectly my back/legs are getting through the lifting days or tire pull work, almost every other day.

keep hitting hte legs hard. if i wer eyou i would add 2 bench days. 1 heavy. and 1 day where you do assistance work such as rotating; close grip, illegal wide gripo, bench to the neck, inclines, etc.. And if all else fails and you cant get it moving, just use ed coans bench routine. it's very simple and effective. http://www.joeskopec.com/edcoanbench.html

Man the same thing happens to me, so i try to do bench twice a week and also try to pick up the intensity to push the weight gains
