I'm trying to figure out what I'm doing wrong.
I'm 45 year old woman, I'm 5'6 and 180 pounds. I have been off work for a year do too being mauled by 2 pits dogs. My damage is my leg so I walk with a cane but can do some cardio.
I take meds so I don't know if this in interfering with me not losing.
I'm on the Atkins diet and have been on it for over 3 weeks. I do not do more than 20 carbs a day.
the meds I'm on are Cymbalta, Neurontin, Celebrex, Temazepam and Cyclobenazprine. I go to the gym 3 times a week with a guy friend and work out rather good. I'm just not getting it and the weight gain is not good for my leg so I need to lose some. Before the injury I walked up to 12 miles a day and was fit. Any advice would be grateful!!!
Thanks
BJ
I have been told that 20 carbs is not good when you doing weights. I tried the calorie diet but it just didn't work. This diet is the only one that I have found that works but I don't want to harm my body anymore than it already is. I just want to lose weight so it will help my leg but also gain muscle.
