New girl here with Anavar and water retention question

Hi girls,

New here and wanted to introduce myself and ask a question to the experts at the same time. I'm a 38 y/o mother of two that is not new to working out and lifting weights but let's just say I let myself go a little after my second child was born. I was almost around 170 and I've been working hard to get the weight down. I'm down to 145 at 5'3" with bf hovering around 25%.

I'd like to do a cycle of Anavar but I'm going to wait till I'm at 130 lbs or less and I want my bf% under 20.

So in reading a lot of threads, I've noticed that a good portion of females are complaining about water retention during their Anavar cycles. I've also read that Anavar is expensive to make and it often is really dbol instead. Would it be possible that the complaints about water retention is due to what was thought to be Anavar be dbol instead?

I was always under the impression that Anavar caused lean muscle growth without the water retention?

interesting question ... A female would be best suited to answer obviously so I'll sit back and see the replies you get ...

I did want to add getting human grade var is the way to go as a female if it is at all possible

Secondly- anavar is only expensive if you are using high amounts like 50mg+ per day, you'd only use 10mg max I'd say.

Thirdly and most importantly, for what reasons do u want to use it? What is your current diet and training plan? How long have u been lifting??
 
I gained 10 lbs in water on my last cycle. It came off 2 weeks post cycle, but during the bloated feeling was crap. I know a couple other gals who experienced the same issue. I was not going to run var again due to the water retention. I found a lab with accurate dosing and am running a var cycle now. I've not noticed the water gain with this lab (thank gawd).

Did you mean anavar is expensive to take or make? It runs guys more $$ since they take higher dosage than women. It dose make your muscles hard and you have more strength. Is that what you're looking for?

I'm gonna sneak in a quick question here, ladies, but I'll try and avoid a hijack but this may actually help the OP. Pandie and Frenchy, what methods did you employ to keep water retention down? Did you use an AI? If so, what did you use and did you notice any significant sides?

When I stated that anavar was expensive, I was referring to the raw materials required to actually make it, hence the reason why its been said that some labs actually use d-bol instead of real anavar. That would explain the water retention since d-bol is notorious for bloat.

I started this thread because in researching anavar use in women on this forum and others, I noticed a trend of women saying they experienced water retention, some for their entire cycle. Maybe the lab they thought they were getting anavar from wasn't being honest?

Finally, I want to use anavar to build some more quality lean muscle and strength gains. However, I realize that I'm not ready for that yet because I want to get my body fat down some more. I've been lifting on and off for 7-8 years. However, with the birth of my daughter who is now 4, I really haven't been doing much.

My training is cardio 3-4 times a week for about 45 minutes at a jogging pace. I'm also lifting on a split body part regimen 4 to 5 times a week.

My diet is typical protein and complex carbs utilizing 5-6 small meals daily. Breakfast 4-5 egg whites and cup of oatmeal. Whey protein shake after workout. Lunch chicken breast and green leafy veggies. 2nd lunch chicken breast and maybe some brown rice or sweet potato. Dinner tilapia, collard greens, may do carbs may not. Depends on how I feel. And then a casien protein shake before bed.

I'm taking a fat burner, drinking green tea, and using stevia in my protein shakes. Sometimes I put a shot of espresso in them for flavor and caffeine. Drinking at least 1.5 gallons of water a day. And 1000mg Vit C before bed.

Thanks for sharing your experiences. Would you be willing to share both the first lab and the current lab? I'd like to know which lab you are having good experiences with. Heard good things about Balkan and Kalpa labs. If you don't want to name publicly, feel free to PM me.

Frenchy, the whole point is that some labs are passing off dbol as anavar because the raw powder is much less expensive than real var raw powder. It wouldn't be blue and the reality is that when we get compounds from ugl's, not from the pharmacy via a scrip, we really have no idea what we're taking without having it tested. That's why it's incredibly important to have a good source.

Also, if a lady was running a low dose of dbol diguised as var, say 10mgs or less, it wouldn't necessarily be obvious.

Jaz..... here is your answer to my current lab choice. Research the reviews. I'm on week 3 now of 10mg Anavar (var). No water retention. Yea!!

After reading my diet regime, are there any suggestions to kick it up a notch to get body fat % down a bit more?
