New guy sending an SOS

I'm 49 years old and symptoms of ED had me going to my Family Doctor. She found my total T level at 251 and started me on Testosterone Cypionate 200mg/ml per 2 weeks or optional 1/2 dose each week. I've ben doing 1/2 cc (100mg) per week.
Here are my questions:

1. Is this enought TC to get my level up. I'm on week 4 and don't feel too much improvement.
2. If I wanted to get some mail order TC and supplement my doses to 200mg/ml per week, what are your thoughts?
3.**************

I'm sure most can understand being 49 years young, fixing the ED issue is high on my priority list.
Should I seek an expert in the field to trust my family practice doc?

100mg of test cyp should give your ed problems a rest.. some people go as high as 200mg a week... but that would be up to your doctor...

we have a sponsor here that is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) clinic.. they do not accept health insurance though

it can take 3-6 weeks for you start feeling a difference. But most people will only take up to 200mgs a week anyways. I would stay with your doctor for now and wait till your next blood test and she might bump you up. But I wouldnt start getting into mail order yet unless you feel as if your local docs can do nothing for you. And you might try a endo or uro as well. But a lot of people includng myself have this idea that this process is going to be quick to get where you need to be. Most of of the time its not, it can take months of trying different protocols, adding different drugs etc. So you must be paitent.

TRT is not going to be a god send by its self, you still have to look at your environment. Do you sleep 7-9hours regularly, are you pounding caffeine, to much alcohol, other medications that could be affecting you, mental issues, diet, exericise. etc. be sure to make sure those are all in check.

go with 100 mg a week as prescribed, follow directions and get blood work, feel better and dialed in for a while before you get too much of a good thing

I would also add you do not want to start arbitrarily adding things because there is a potential to start throwing yourself out of whack. its better to have no improvement and wait on blood work and move things around and add mail order stuff and potentially get worse. To top it off you start adding on your own the doc with blood work will probably know and either cut you off or do something else. Your almost going to create a dog chasing its tail effect. Specially when you are new and jumping into it your body probably is still changing. After you are set in your protocol and you know what the doc is doing, you then might do mail order or research chems once you know whats going on. But being so new to the game it would not be advisable to start throwing more wood into the fire yet.

If you have not had this blood work done you might want to do so, cholesterol, PSA, prolactin, LH, FSH, thyroid function, cortisol test, iron, ferriten
