How does one go about becoming a mod anyways?

First off, knowing your shit is a big plus.
Second, the ability to effectively communicate with others...usually people who piss you off.
Third, a level head helps.
Fourth, a willingness to help others. You will see people helping in various forums (steroids/diet/training), who fit the bill for mods.

I am not answering for this site, but for the many other sites where I am on staff and know the criteria, but it is pretty much the same across the board.

In some cases a blow job for the owner is a plus.
