new to steroids and prohormones

Hi, so let me give some background information. I am 21 going to be 22 this year. Have been lifting and working out for about two years. I think I have built myself up as best as I could naturally and am hitting a plateau, and the only mass I seem to be putting on is fat when I try to eat more meat and cottage cheese. When I tried cutting I lost a lot of strength as well as fat. I am 165-170 it (fluctuates) and am 5'8. I have done some research on other forums and this one and am considering pro hormones or steroids. As I did more reading to whats a good beginner cycle I started hearing terms like prolactin and estrogen blockers to prevent gyno. I realized I needed to be as best informed as I could be before I start messing with this stuff. I don't necessarily want to get insanely huge, just have an aesthetically balanced and built body like the guy on youtube called zyzz (yes I know I will never look like him as we are two different people with different genes) Just something with a lot of definition not crazy mass. I have also heard of hgh helping people grow taller? When i was younger my asthma was really bad and my mom put me on corticosteroids which I think may have slightly stunted my growth, everyone else in my family is tall. Would some hgh help? I wouldn't mind being closer to 6 foot. Also I am in college, don't drink and workout at 6 am when the gym first opens so I can use whatever machines I want. I would say I am pretty dedicated and committed just want to take my body to the next level. I would also prefer not to have to use needles but you guys are the experts. Also I would like to be told side effects or if you had experience with the stuff. I am not the richest of people so budget is a factor as I can't be spending hundreds on this stuff, and can't be going to the doctor every month or two to have blood tests. Thanks. Oh and I would also prefer something with minimal side effects. Like I said I am in college so girls are kind of important, so something that won't affect that part of my life either. Thanks.

Welcome to Ology brother! At 21-22 you should not be messing around with any hormones. You have naturally elevated test levels and should be seeing gains if you're diet is right. I give you props for doing all this research, and it's good to have, but put it on the backburner for now and get your diet in check. 165-175 is not your peak. Even if it is, you should wait until at least 24-25 to start thinking about hormones. Trust me when I tell you that hitting a plateau is VERY different than being at your peak natural physique. Get with 3J if need be. For 125 bones the guy will get you on the right track and you'll be gaining again in no time.

Bottom line, you will gain nothing for hormones unless your diet is solid. And I can tell from your stats it most likely is not.
 
I highly recommended you reach your genetic potential before putting your hands on Prohormones.
But h drol or p mag is a good start make sure you have your pct and diet in check
 
I think I should mention I started out at like 115-120 when I was 18 and I would say I have put on a good amount of mass from eating and training hard, literally stuffing my face with good whole food. Any advice on something safe to try or experiment with that won't risk my hair falling out or my dick not working? I guess I wanted to know what is supposed to be taken pre-cycle, while on cycle, and after the cycle is completed. I am still on the fence about taking it. Would just like to know as many of the risks involved before I do. What if I supplement with HGH, risks involved there? Thanks already for all the helpful insight so far.
 
Hi , can u first start by posting what is ur daily meals , work out schedule, and I feel in no disrespect that u just wanna take the juice with out puttin all the work in. Remember ur young u still have enough yrs before u take the plunge. If u think ur diet is in check then I guess 3j will be the one to give u the answer.
 
jack3d then to gym first thing in the morning after workout I have 2 scoops of whey protein isolate and a banana. I also take all my vitamins, and fish oil caps after workout.

then after my first morning class I will either have 1/2 a cup of oats or a tuna sandwich with whole wheat bread. At 12 or 1 I will have egg whites with some chicken and some salad, maybe 1/2 cup of brown rice.

then at 3 I like to have more egg whites tuna and salad. no dressing and I try to make everything to keep sodium down. If I am low in something I may take some more of my protein shake.

At 6 I try to eat a 1/2 cup of brown rice or some pinto beans with chicken and some vegetables. I have been trying to eat cottage cheese more at night but I just feel bloated in the morning rather than tight the next morning. I also drink a gallon of water a day.

my workout schedule is like this
chest and forearms on monday
triceps and shoulders on tuesday
back and biceps on wednesday
thursday is calves and legs
friday is abs
saturday I mix up between a full body routine with maybe 3 or 4 exercise like squats, deadlifts etc. or I do low intensity cardio for 45 minutes.
Usually throughout the week I do 15 minutes of cardio after my weights, and alternate between high intensity and low intensity. All the help I can get would be much appreciated. I feel lately that even upping my carbs, doesn't do a whole lot for me in the gym as far as more weight or higher reps. Thanks
 
you need to wait til your 22.5 yrs old man. read and research shit til than. planin is key, knowing WTF your doing is key. diet is king, above all else. it will make you shine on sink you.
 
as far as my diet goes how does it look? I don't cheat at all, my opinion is you can tell people whatever you want but looking a certain way takes sacrifices such as no late night snacking with friends or milkshakes or pizza. I realize I need to wait longer. I am going to keep going at it and hopefully I can break through this wall. Any other supps you guys can recommend? Not too fond of creatine didn't really see any improvement when I used to take it, except a loss in definition, strength gains weren't that noticeable. But knowledge and being well informed is key. Can anyone provide a sample first cycle with minimal side effects? I may consider trying it over summer so I know it won't affect my school work. Thanks everyone is being really helpful, and is giving their honest opinions. I appreciate it.

and your wondering why you plateau? my female clients eat more then this!! im not trying to flame at all but your no where close to your genetic potential.. your not even half way there... put away the prohormones and get your diet fixed.. your not doing yourself any good with the way your eating right now...

x2, thanks for popping in 3J. I used a PH before I was ready and let me tell ya... I lost EVERYTHING I gained. Pointless. Useless. Waste of time and money. Be smart, contact a pro like 3J.
 
Welcome bro! You took a step in the right direction, now you have some really solid advice here, and yes for your size, depending on your level of activity during the day, this is how many calories you should be eating a day...3270 based on 5'9" (69"), 21 years old, 167 lbs (went in the middle of 165-170) and I will assume you are very active being that you are 21 and going to school, training, etc. That would be a minimum calorie intake for you eat daily bro...I have a hard time hitting those numbers on some days, you have to plan out your meals ahead of time, make sure you are getting the right macros (protein, carbs, healthy fats ratios), getting your nutrients in at the right time...do you know when your body is in the most anabolic state? Did you know that food is actually more anabolic than steroids?

We say this because we care bro! Hook up with this guy 3J or whomever and sit down and map out your nutrition prior to introducing hormones into your regemine...and you have not hit your potential by far, not even close!

BCAA's, Creatine, solid multi vitamin, EFA's, are some supplements to take but these are supplements...not food replacements! I think you are getting the picture?

I really didn't expect all this support. Thanks guys. I am going to make a few changes based on the advice here and see which ones give me the results I am after.
