Newbie - Just want to introduce myself

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself to the forum.

6' 285lbs

Squat 500/Bench 385/Deadlift 605

Live in NE Pennsylvania

Ive been lifting on and off since high school. I started seriously training for powerlifting about a year ago and have made some decent natural gains. Ive done mostly 5x5's and more recently started using the cube method.

Im looking forward to learning all I can and meeting new people!
 
Welcome bud. You picked a good forum. Some of the ones out there are a cesspool of bad information. I think you will like this place!
 
Welcome to the board. Do some reading as per what was suggested. We see you lift very decent wt/lbs so you've got experience. Hang in there and listen and you will be amazed as to what you / we learn on this forum. There is a lifetime of BB and PL experience on here as well a book and scientific knowledge. Good luck and be cool. :)

Thanks all for the welcome...Ive been reading this and some other boards for a while now but this is the first one I actually signed up and posted to.

From what I have been reading this is what I put together for my first basic cycle.

Week 1-10 Test-e 250mg (Mon and Thu)
Week 5-10 HCG 250ui (Tues and Fri)
Week 1-16 AI: Exemestane(Aromasin) 12.5mg daily
Week 13-16 Nolvadex 40/40/20/20
Week 13-16 Clomid 100/100/50/50

Diet
300 grams protein
150 grams fat
200 grams carbs

Training
Cube Method

Nice numbers for starters, you're going to explode on your cycle!

With regards to your cycle, I'd run the test for 12 weeks, start the HCG on day 1, and stop the AI the day before PCT begins.

While aromasin is an AI that can be run with PCT, this is a time where you want your hormones to normalize. Unless you're gyno prone, I don't feel it's at all necessary.

The only other thing I recommend is to get bloodwork done before you cycle, so you KNOW where you started. You don't want to play the guessing game if you have issues with recovery. Some guys don't realize that they had shitty testosterone levels going into a cycle; feel AMAZING during the cycle, then feel crappy afterwards - wondering if that's how things were before or not.

Thanks halfwit! I was going back and forth on what to do with the HCG. There are so many conflicting opinions out there!

To add to what Halfwit said, I would also get bloodwork done mid cycle (week 6) to make sure your dosing your AI correctly - you don't want to overdo it and crash your e2 - and make sure your gear is legit, etc.
Post cycle bloodwork is also a good idea to make sure your pct & recovery was successful.

As for your diet, what is your goal for this cycle? Bulk or cut?
