40/20/20/20 is 40 mg of what ever compound your using like say nolvadex 40 would be the first week 20mg being the second week and so on.AI stands for aromatase inhibitor.AIs are taken to either block the production of estrogen or block the action of estrogen on receptors.

More specifically Aromatase inhibitor (AI) stands for Aromatase Inhibitor. Aromatase is an enzyme in your body that is responsible for converting test into e (as Sigmund correctly pointed out).
Also Steroidology is a fantastic source of information but try googling this shit also. If you simply google "AI steroids" you get a ton of great information. Use everything available to you. I cant help but agree with Natty about asking these kinds of questions...

The mods really need to regulate the fucksticks like this. This is a huge reason why I don't call this site my home. There are plenty of other sites where you can get get really good help if you are new to the game. Jumping down someone's throat or telling them to "go read the stickys'' doesn't do shit but fuck people up.
