Noisy shoulder

When I raise my arm to the front i can hear poping/clicking noises in my shoulder but it does not cause any pain at all. Does anyone else have the same thing? It just worries me a bit. I don't want it to turn inot an injury.

My physiotherapist said if there is no pain it is fine. I just want to hear from you guys who might hear the same thing. Thanks.

I have the exact same problem. My doctor said it was fine. Somehow I don't quite believe him. I've had no problems so far though (other than the noise). I'm 24 years old, and have had it since 19 or so. Perhaps the problems will come as I get older...

Why don't you believe your doc? Have you ever had joint pain in your shoulder? Tendonitis? Bursitis? Thanks. ;)

what about an xray...wouldnt that help to see if anything was out of whack?

I asked for an xray and it was perfect. Both shoulders are the same. The clicking when I do a front raise is annoying. People say its nothing but why doesn't the other one click?
