Not so great gains

Need advice.

Im deciding to stay on AAS.

My 1st cycle was sustanon @ 500mg a week for 15 weeks and i gained 20lbs.
Ok....happy camper.

I deloaded and cruised for a while keeping everything i gained.

Now Im blasting another bulker with
Iran Test E 500mg aweek
**** Decaplex @ 600mg a week.

Now i am spot on with training & diet
But my gains so far in Week # 7 is
up 8 lbs....the gains are more lean than my previous cycle.

Is this normal for my second blast?

Advice needed.
 
Without knowing your stats it's pretty hard to make a judgement call.

That said, the closer you get to your genetic limit, the harder it is to make gains.
 
could just be how you're training bro, your first cycle is always your most gains... you're only 7 weeks in so you still have lots more time to grow. order some arimidex and run it .50mg ed .. anti estrogens can sometimes help. make sure you're switching up your exercises and changing the order of what you do to confuse the muscle and fatigue it properly. you might only put 8 pounds on this cycle, it happens... you can't expect 20 pounds every cycle. make sure your calorie intake is high enough also.

all protien and aminos in check

Training is high volume 5 day split tearing the living shit out of each muscle once a week.
 
I think youre just expecting too much. Your first cycle you put 20lbs on, so another 8lbs isnt bad. As you move toward your 4th 5th cycle, youll be lucky to gain 10lbs, what you keep is another story.
 
with a high training volume and " diet as clean as can be " maybe you should add some not so clean calories . at 230 pounds allready you may need the calories to grow.
 
^^^^ exactly. Also what Dadawg said is very true. Go pig out and stop eating clean. To be honest I don't know how you're figuring you eat 5000 clean cals...that's pretty tough if even possible... My guess is it's either not 5000 cals & it's too clean but that aside just eat some dirtier high cal foods & you'll grow. Once you get heavier the clean stuff doesn't pack on the lbs the same way

ahhh wouldn't it be nice if every cycle yielded 20 lbs.... We'd all be 295 & chizzled & wouldn't have much to talk about here
