Oils for my homebrew

The place I normally got my oil from no longer has it, I've read about alot of people just getting the oil they use from a local shopping centre or health food store, even though it's not USP grade or heat treated some crap.

Is this fine to do? I was looking at my local shops and saw some grapeseed oil which I'm told is very thin and great to use, but I dunno, just seems a bit dodgy, it's with all the other name brand cooking oils, I cant find ingredients on it anywhere to say if it has any preservatives or additives so I'm pretty sure it's just grapeseed oil, it only has the nutritional information on the side protein/fat/carbs etc etc

So using something like that with BA/BB and filtering it would be ok?

By the time you filter and sterilize the grocery store or health food store oil, it'll be fine for IM use. Should be able to find grape seed oil at the health food store.

oil from a health food store will work fine. The ba and a good whatman filter will cold sterilize it
