Older guys...if you could go back...what would you change?

So if you dropped 50lbs and now are 230 does that mean at your LARGEST you were around 280? If so, bodybuilder big or powerlifter big, as in cut up or smooth and carrying a little extra weight?
Body builder with the upper body of a 300 pounder. My legs were lagging do to injury.im 6'1"

In my thirties I was one of the most respected product designers in the bodybuilding world. 10 years ago you didnt cycle without using the products I designed unless you were a moron. I did it right I watied well after my body hit its potiential I tuned my diet and training programs for years before mynfirst cycle. When I ran my first cycle I was educated my body was a machine. I still
made mistakes. Test flu cost me some gains. I did keep 80% of my gains.

6'1 and 230 for leaness. Sweet. That's nearly my height and about my weight. I don't want to put on TOOO much more size.

I wouldn't have tried to go the mass monster route. At 5'5 230lbs I looked like shit, was jeprodising my health and could barely wipe my own ass. Could only image how lee priest functioned when he bulked to 300...maybe he had his own personal "assman"

5'5" and 230 is big. I'm 5'11 and 190 and feel I'm large for my frame. I know I'm not, but have never weighed over 170 until I did my first cycle. After numerous cycles, I now cruise at 190. At 42 years old, and not doing my first cycle until age 38, I wish I would have started years ago.

Funny how we change as I m 5 11 210 and due to arthritic knee s, hip s have been told to come down to under 190 prior to my 2 nd knee replacement....I can t see that but at 190 I bet u look fine; we psyche ourselves out harder than any one else. BUT if we were satisfied w our look s we d not train, at least when I was younger. Now it s a habit ( and god knows I ve had worse) and then mental relief and endorphin release is as, if not more important.

Can u imagine waking up in some parallel universe where everyone looks like a tennis player...say Denmark...and there d be no gyms ? ( they have them, at least in Copenhagen).
Mama live s in Small town- Nowhere, Germany outside Munich and there s no gym for a 40 kilometer radius and then they want 10 euro (13.00) dollars to train and to my amazement at the "bar" you can order water, protein shakes, a soft drink or a fkn beer.

It s considered a carb in that state alone and even a trucker can have a beer or 2 depending on his bodyweight....liguid bread.

I did my first cycle when I was 36 and am 40 now. Not much I would change except:

1. Portions - my nutrition was pretty spot on and I worked with 3J, but my portions were always on the big side and that kept me from being shredded.
2. Skipping Clen - hated it! Made my head feel like it was in a vice all day.
3. Staying the fuck away from Deca - my last cycle I tried deca for the first time. Big mistake. Shut me down so hard, I am still recovering months later. Tren is so much better.
4. Taking more time off - our bodies need a break. All those years in my 20s of squatting heavy with ass cheek to heel and shoulder pressing 100s take a toll.

Gotta give the Germans some credit for making the weight room a place you can also share a beverage with that girl who's been eye banging you from across the gym

The one thing I would change is I would have started respecting my body earlier instead of waiting till I was in my 30‘s

I'm 43 as well, wish I started way earlier!
Took TRT to make me realise how shitty my health was. And Australia's poor health care system meant self management was easier, and knowledge is power.
