Does Testosterone lower coritisol levels?

Reason for my question is when a Man has high levels of Testosterone he can cope better with stress, a proven fact.....But I am wondering if it would have anything to do with lowering cortisol as that is the stress hormone. Men with high levels of cortisol have trouble coping with stress.

My understanding on the subject...is that testosterone and cortisol both act on a lot of the same receptors. That being the case, when your body is flooded with high levels of androgens, most, of the receptors are occupied so cortisol cannot act on them as it usually would during a stressful situation. So the cortisol is still being released, it just isn't acting on the receptors. 100% bro-science right there so take that for what it's worth.
