only 8 ml in my 10 ml bottle?

  1. take old, empty vial
  2. remove stopper
  3. use syringe to inject exactly 10mL of water into the vial
  4. compare the level on this vial to your sealed vials
Regardless, what can you do? If your buddy is the one that filled the vials, then maybe your buddy can help you out. If not, then he was just the middle man and didn't have anything to do with it.

If the vial was 2mL short then that was probably carelessness, although that doesn't speak well to the production quality from where ever that stuff came from.

Regarding air the syringe:

Standard medical practice is to try and get the air out of the syringe. But for IM and sub-q injections, you aren't going to die if you have some air in the syringe. If you want to use air then I suggest that you:

  1. put a little air the the syringe
  2. make certain the the air goes to the stopper in the syringe
  3. inject the fluid, but stop injecting when you hit the air

The time where this tends to be the most beneficial is when you are injecting, for example, GH sub-q. No sense in wasting that stuff.

good call there, as yes, naturally i aspirate every time... i like the idea of not wasting gear no matter what it is, a $45 bottle of Test or $500 kit of GH
