P90x??????

About a year ago I ordered a program called P90X which im sure most of you have heard of or atleast know about if you watch tv every once in awhile there is a thing called Ripped In 90 Days. ANYHOW!!!! Im looking for someone who has actually done this program or atleast tried it because its a hell of alot of work and the results are amazing well what is supposed to be the real thing i sould say so does anyone have any advice? Follow the diet plans, train with it, or just sell the damn thing!?
Also Im looking for some more information on DC Training (Dogg Crapp) so all help will be greatly appreciated!
 
Well whats you goals? I would say if your looking to get cut, why not give it a try? If you already spent the money you really don't have anything to lose other the weight, and you could always sell it after your done with it. I have seen the infomercials and it seams like its a good system for getting in shape and getting lean. Like I said you already own it now so I would just give it a try and follow it as it says to, who knows it might be the shit and have you looking ripped by the end! When you done with it and know what to do then sell it and you get the best of both worlds, so to speak!

Besides I would like to hear from someone that actually used it and what kinda results they got from it!
 
It works well for cutting weight, getting toned and gaining functional strength but don't expect to look like Coleman or be squatting 500.
 
ya i would like to see someone use it and see what kinda results they would get, seems like it just gets you really cut..
 
Yeah I wouldn't think gaining any kinda size from it would be an option. It does seem like it works well at getting you lean and in good shape. I would really like to see some real before and after pic from someone on the board.

Lets start a little challange brothers, for those who have this system and want to get lean at the moment, lets see some results. Anyone willing to go hard and do it full force, then post pics and results along the way? I'm sure there are a few others on here that would like to see the same! Any takers?
 
whats goin on fellas, i lihe original poster just got my P90X program in the mail and did my first work out session today which was the chest and back and the ab ripper work out. let me tell you this program is gonne be no joke but only if you stick to the work out and the diet and for a little extra support i added a few vitamins and supplements to increase my gains. i got a protein shake mix with the program but in addition i bought aminoade, milk and egg protein powder so i can take that for my snack, ultra man 75 vitamins covers a-z, and NOSBLAST now this stuff is just to give me that extra edge wich is what P90X is all about the way it works is as long as you give 110% and do as many reps as you can of each excercise and keep proper form then the program will work for you. as for your question im down to take the challenge ill keep photos posted we should do a end of month photo to show progress. if you go onto youtube the have peoples personal videos they have made of their success stories and yeah this thing is no joke. you wont get mass but you will get a little from looking so ripped. if you got any questions let me know.
 
Actually, I figured it was another info-mercial waste of money... and probably worked but only for the seriously over weight.. well, I personally know two people who have done it and its no joke. I train MMA with both these guys and they rave about it. One guy is like 19 and in great shape and still couldn't finish some of the work outs. The other added 20+ pounds to all of his major lifts before he even completed the program.
Its more of a sports conditioning type program and great for that purpose or for cutting up.. I might give it a shot one of these days..
 
Sounds good Nate, I am excited for you and to see your progress! I knew from looking at the program my self it would be great for cutting but it will be great to actually see some real life results, you just cant go off what the company shows you, you know! I am actually leaning out now do to not being able to lift at the moment, P90X is still too much for me right now but when better I would love to give it a try, if I'm still leaning out.

Don't forget to take that first pic before getting too much into the program and keep us all posted along the way! Good luck bro!
 
im down with the photos ive started the program 2 weeks ago...
workouts are insane and im 18 years old and have a hard time finishing but i feel it working thats for sure...i will be posting photos tomorrow but not sure where to do it?
this is actually a good program to gain mass if u supplement right...creatine,protein,test, whatever helps gain will help if u use it while doing the program cuz after all u are working muscles and doing repetition correct?

so im loving it so far but the dieting is CRUCIAL if you are NOT going to follow the diet book that came with the program just SEND IT BACK AND FILL YOUR WALLET BACK UP...because the chances are you arent going to suceed to much with it.
 
I bought it a year or two ago, I play baseball so I figured Id do it to get ready for the season.

I did it for about 3 weeks but missed lifting heavy and power lifts so I stopped doing it. I'll tell you for those 3 weeks I have never been so sore from doing light weight and body weight exercises.

Sounds bad but I couldnt even finish some of the videos because I was so dead. If you want to get cut this is great, if your small you'll gain size but for someone who lifts heavy its only going to get you ripped and tons of stamina, I wouldnt expect to get any bigger off it.

Just my two cents.
