did my first shot wednesday in my glute , i could barely walk or sleep since thursday. the spot where i injected is hard and painfull
is this the quality of my gear or is there something i'm doing wrong

This is likely due to instability while injecting. If your hand moved around more than necessary, it's likely the tip of the needle (which is a blade) caused more damage than needed for an injection. Tissue does not like that and reacts. This is common when you first begin injecting until you have more experience. It will probably heal or come down in 3 days or so. If the site continues to worsen after 5 days, I recommend that you seek a physician's attention to rule out an infection.

I'm sure you may have heard of the "Virgin Muscle" theory, rest assured, there is no such thing.

Could definetaly be the quality of the gear also. Try ventro glute with a 1 1/2". I had some really painful test e once, and that was the only place that I could tolerate the pip. With that being said, it was painful for all 24 injections. Never got better. Good luck.

As Austin said, it's more than likely either your technique or from the gear itself i.e. Too much BA content.

Quad is good. Easy to see, and use both hands. On another note, your using a needle to inject stuff into a muscle. There will be some pain and discomfort. Suck it up. :)

I guess that's what they meant when they coined the phrase no pain no gain lol. Brings back memories of my first pin, had to squat over the toilet cause I couldn't sit.....lol

learn to like the pain. its part of the game. like austin said, thrashing the needle around inside you is where most of the pain will be coming from.

I have gotten pip every time I have injected so far but it is going away faster each time.

Try a hot bath beforehand. Roll a loaded syringe in a heated towel to warm oil. Inject slow and smooth. Count if you have to to make sure you are taking your time. Control your breathing to steady your hands. Wait a few minutes after inject and massage the area and lightly workout the muscle to get blood flowing. Doing these helped a lot for me.
