Pooping hard little Rocks!!!! Help

Hey guys,

This is becoming a problem for me and I have tried everything that I can think of.

My protein intake is so high that my poop is rock hard. I have been taking fiber pills for months and using laxitives, BUT nothing seems to work.

Any Ideas??????

Help me poop with ease please!!!!!!!!!
 
Are you drinking enough water ?, Mr P eats close to 300 grams of protein & drinks at least 1 gallon & half & doesn't have this problem.

(i've read also that warm water with lemon in the morning when yo wake up is great for this.

You say your eating eneough fiber, maybe add a little more fiber like more (beans, lentils), seeds, nuts and green leafy vegetables . They are rich in fiber and nutrients, including magnesium, which is good for constipation.

super but drain is what they should call it....i use to drink one a week right before i weighed in just to get an accurate weigh in...Then i heard taking laxatives that often can cause you to lose control of your bowls, so i fucking stopped lol

LOL, yes because it would sure suck to have explosive diarrhea sneak up on you while doing the nasty.
 
LMAO... try having explosive diarrhea when your in your car, 20 miles away from anything. BLACK LEATHER SEATS. 120 degree weather. Air Conditioner is BROKEN... you want to know about hell.... that was the longest 10 minutes of my life. I had my foot pushing so hard on the pedal I thought I was going to break through the floor.

And I usually take stool softeners. Not laxitives. Makes it some what bearable to shit.

Juss-Thanks for the info, I think that is the way I'm going to go. I need something and fiber pills, laxitives, magnesium, flax seed, and other fiber drinks JUST ARE NOT CUTTING IT! I'll keep you posted if I pop a few soft Obama's in the next few days :beertoast

Mrs P- I should prolly drink a little more water than I do. I drink a gallon but with my leaning cycle & the cardio I do I should prolly drink more like 1g & half. I take in quite a bit of fiber already with pills and other fiber drinks, but maybe some more leafy vegetables could be an easy cure. I'll check it out. I'm going to the store tomorrow so I'll pick up some spinach leaves.
 
This is a nervous system problem primarily in the liver. The chinese have written about it for a long time, though with modern science you can combine good supplements to fix it. I'd let up off whatever cycle you're on until you can resolve it. You don't need to be on a heavy cycle to get this, you can get it from stress, etc.

Thanks for the input. However, I know exactly what the source is...High Protein Diet. Happens almost every cycle but I just wanted to see what I could do to fix the prob. Going to the store Tomorrow to pick up some of that juice Juss was talking about ;)
 
it taste like lemon lime alkaseltzer....get two bottles drink one.....wait about 2 hours, if nothing then drink number two......i drank two bottles at a time but im a big mother fucker...

I'm generally not a fan of laxatives because some of them will dehydrate you and screw up your electrolytes. Also, sometimes if you take too many of them and too often your body becomes accustomed to them and you might find yourself needing them. Since you've already figured that the problem is with your diet you could try what I call the 'Ctrl-Alt-Del' to dump everything out, then afterwards regulate with increased fluid intake, more natural fiber (food rather than pills), and a stool softner like Colace (100mg twice a day to start would be my suggestion, then if you get reasonable results you can decrease it to once a day).

This 'Ctrl-Alt-del' dump is similar to the prep for a colon examination that a friend of mine who is a GI specialist likes to use, so it will make you shit until there's nothing left to shit out, and then some. The advantage: you'll be as clear and pure as a virgin in a few hours. I've also written it for severely constipated patients, and it works like a charm.

Items to get:

2 liter bottle of Gatorade (any flavor)
An 8.6oz dose of Miralax powder (or you can get the cheaper Walmart version called ClearLax)
1 bottle of mag citrate

Also make sure you have an ample supply of TP on hand, and don't make any plans to go out anywhere for the rest of the day once you get started.

Before you start make sure that your stomach is empty because you're going to need to drink a lot of stuff. Mix the ingredients together in a blender with a small amount of ice. Pour it out into a big pitcher. This stuff will taste like watered-down Kool Aid with salt added to it, so prepare yourself for that.

Start drinking---one glass every 15 or so minutes. Keep the pace because if you do it too slowly you'll begin to feel full and lose motivation to continue. And you have to drink it ALL.

Whatever is in there is going to come out so all you have to do is wait. And you won't have to wait long. Oh, and one other thing, you might want to damp the TP with some faucet water before you wipe because you'll be wiping A LOT and you might excoriate yourself.

Try eating a salad with at least 2 meals per day. Add more vegetables to your diet, esp. green leafy. I would try that before laxatives.
