Possibly TRT at age 33 need advice

Strong Man

Over Train
Hi there it's been a while since I posted on this forum. I'm 33 years old 185 pounds 6 foot tall and I'm lean and don't carry much body fat. I recently had my testosterone checked and the value was 337. Everything else on my blood work checked out to be excellent. I've ran cycles in the past but it's probably been at least two or three years since I have ran any AAS. Most of my cycles just consisted of around 500 mg a week of testosterone. I did proper post cycle therapy clomin/Nolvadex. I also used HCG while on all of my cycles. So never have abused anabolic's in anyway and my longest cycle ever was 16 weeks. So I have my full blood work done by my general doctor but he did not test my LH and FSH so maybe I should check those?? I just had another testosterone level checked through my other doctor and it came back as 435. I'm not understanding why my testosterone levels are so low for a healthy 33-year-old male?

So my main question is should I jump on TRT at 33 years old or is there something that I can actually do to make my natural level go up?

what time of the day were you getting your levels checked ?

you can't just "jump on" Dr. supervised TRT . Doctors will only treat you if you have a medical condition . Your Test levels would probably be considered in the 'normal' range by most doctors and they would not treat you .

what were your levels before you ever used AAS , or what levels were you able to achieve after your PCT ?

Yeah, more than likely, a normal MD isn't going to put you on TRT with that level. You levels are mid range. My test levels are always higher in the morning vs afternoon. I have seen as much as 150pts difference within a few months while not cycling.

In the morning.

My doctor has already approved me for TRT. At 337 is considered low T based off of LabCorp charts, 348 - 1197 is the normal range.

I have always got blood work done first thing in the morning as usual protocol.

My test levels after my last cycle after PCT were low 400s and I figured it would go up but apparently it never did.

Wow. You are lucky bro. Most docs won't even consider it at your age. It sucks to have to do TRT so young but honestly, Id rather have a doc put me on it than to have to approach it by myself.

Why did you initially get your test levels checked? How do you feel? Do you have symptoms of low testosterone? There are other ways to increase your levels. If you're asymptomatic you may want to hold off on TRT.

There are plenty of vitality and optimization hormone clinics that are ready and willing for u

Yes I would much rather NOT be on TRT at 33 and I'm hoping to learn some real proven ways to increase my testosterone naturally before I resort to synthetic testosterone. Well I got my levels tested because I was feeling very lethargic and didn't have much energy but I believe that was due to a sinus infection that was lingering around for about a month. So as of now I don't feel as lethargic as I did but there are still days where I don't have much energy. I don't have any ED issues whatsoever but my recovery in the gym is much slower these days and I'm so completely exhausted after training in the gym and it wasn't like that before say in my mid 20s. After training I feel mentally and physically exhausted pretty much after every workout.

It seems that zinc and vitamin D is the basis for natural testosterone boost but does this actually do anything where people have had blood work to prove it does?

If you have a vitamin d deficiency that can lead to low t like symptoms and fixing that can help significantly. Another culprit for low t symptoms is sleep apnea. You can test for vitamin d and get a sleep study for apnea.

I tried for over a year to raise my t levels through diet and exercise and it didn't help. Unfortunately, in my opinion, pharmaceuticals are the way to go if you are struggling with low t.

Edit- Maybe somebody can speak to your vitamin d levels as posted.

FSH
LH

E2

Yes I'm going to get bloods done through Priate Labs. I used to get the female hormone panel but that doesn't include everything you're suggesting. What test should I order from them that includes everything?

Being that my vitamin D is on the low side of the normal range how much would you suggest I take and do you suggest a particular brand that's trusted?

I dont think you can overdo the Vitamin D at your level, the question will be if the oral will get it up over 55.

You may need calcitriol injections. Just depends.

Just make sure the test has those listed above that I mentioned, this will tell us why your not getting your TT up.

Hope this helps.
