Pre-Contest, AML Gear, 3J serviced Cycle Thread

Back pain from pumps? I do all my biceps work seated, it doesn't matter how good you are - standing will always involve the back to an extent.

It came during the rope extensions and I still have it today. I can't explain it, other than maybe I hurt them during deadlifts the other day. Glutes are absolutely rock hard so maybe too tight and need to foam role plus massage

Leaning forward while doing them? The video Schredder linked to the limber 11 is good stuff.
 
You glutes are tight. So most likely your lower back is as well. The tense muscles could be pulling you spinal cord out of alignment causing you pain.

Even if you felt something during the rope pushdowns that doesnt mean that was the route cause. A lot of time we break down or wear out body part on a consistant basis, then one day it lets loose over the littlest thing. Ive actually pulled my back clean right out putting on a sock before.

The key with any muscle, especially the back is to keep it limber, flexible and strong to avoid injury. This video is a great help. Also, chiro and deep tissue massage works wonders.

Great advice. Strangely I do nearly all of those exercises (or know of them) albeit some less regularly than others. Have been doing them all today and pain is slightly alleviated.

Technically I'm still with 3J, however I haven't privately messaged him yet. Best to do that now!

Still eating at 4k calories at 400/400/100 split.

Agreed on food closer to the show, I ALWAYS seem to have cravings and cheery slices are my go-to....as bad as they are
 
Right on. Well ten weeks should be plenty especially with your experience - I stayed leaner this offseason and was pretty much ready in under two months

My state's IFBB rep called me to say that I can't compete in that regional event as they're only taking people outside of Sydney....and I live right in the business district....

So my only alternative is to compete in the amateur olympia which is a national event and will be full of some big boys who SHOULD out class me. I'm thinking of doing it just for the fun of it as it's the only and last event of the 2015 season.
 
alrighties seems I'm competing in the amateur Olympia in late November. Thankfully I have more gear than required to make the bridge...just on cycle 2 weeks longer than anticipated...ah well!

Being Thursday I have only done 2 days of workouts this week so will double up tomorrow and workout Saturday before soccer. My back issues still persist so I've rested on the days when feeling extra tight and sore.

Tuesday was Legs (changed exercises to accommodate my back)

10min warm up of treadmill then stretching

8x leg press, single leg at a time >> ended up doing continuous sets and got my blood flowing
5x leg extension, back absolutely straight against the chair
5x seated leg curl, same again
4x inner and outer abductor machine, super setting between them

20x donkey calf raises with 60kgs ontop of body weight, just did them until failure. Did the trick, couldn't walk down stairs afterwards
 
Today was Chest:

pull ups and stretching for warm up

Decline bench
10x 60kgs
10x 100kgs
8x 120kgs
6x 120kgs (was trying or 8)
4x 120kgs (trying for 8 again...)
8x 100kgs
10x 80kgs
20x 20kgs (just the bar) pausing top and bottom, squeezing the muscles

Incline DB press
10x 40kgs
10x 46kgs
6x 50kgs (heaviest DBs in the gym)
4x 50kgs
8x 40kgs
4x 40kgs (shoulder inflammation hits here)

Machine press
4x10 @ 100kgs

Cable flys
4x whatever weight until failure
superset
wide arm pushups until failure
 
Just want to note as I finish my last bottle of EQ this week, been running it for 18 weeks at 1200mgs a week.

I've had no issues what so ever with that concentration which is handy and with AML putting in 300mgs/mL it makes it really easy to run hefty doses
At 200/250mgs/mL I'd have to load extra syringes as mine only hold 3mL.

Just food for thought, extra concentration makes things easier when done right.



edit: also noting I've supremely happy with my progress. Body looks completely different to when I started and had no issues with bloat.
Girlfriend is finally getting used to the increases in sex drive which has also helped life in general.
Thankfully the EQ is finishing (and hopefully the massive appetite) JUST as I'm about to start cutting

Smooth man, I have been pinning 3mL per pin in quads, glutes, delts and pecs and no pain at all from the compounds.
Breaking it down, if I'm pinning 600mg of EQ and 250mg of Test E at a time in one go and have no pain, then I can't compliment the brewer enough!

Onk, does eq raised ur blood pressure too much?
I am thinking to start new cycle but not sure what to take deca or eq...Which one is better?

EQ will raise your BP yes, how much is dependent on your cycle lifestyle.

For me, I donated pre-cycle full blood, then during cycle have been able to do full blood or platelet donations.
Platelet donations can be done every 2 weeks so a quicker turn around time than the 100 odd days for full blood.

Other than that, cialis E3d decently dosed (I use 5-10mg) will also help a bit.

Honestly, if you have your shit in order, cycling with EQ shouldn't hinder your plans.
