Preferred Injection Spots

I have been on TRT for a short while now and already have changed my injection location. I started injecting in my butt but really hated doing it that way because it was hard to stay still and just the awkwardness of trying to bend your body to get it right and stay stable. I have recently been doing it in my thigh and it was very painful in the first couple of weeks. I ended up (with advice from IMT) putting a pillow under my leg to keep my muscle relaxed while doing it and there has been no pain at all. I also feel more positive effects of the TRT doing the injections in this area.

I really wanted to know other people's stories and see where they like doing there injections and if you have any advise. Thanks

I stab in the butt, different side each time. It was awkward at first, but I'm used to it now. I wonder about the "hardening of the skin" on injection sites though...???

l've done them on my thighs and though bit painful they we'rent bad. Delts are ok but u can only use one hand which is kinda uncomfortable for me but pretty painless.

My fav and smoothest is def the glutes, theres so much muscle there l rarely feel any pain; sometimes a little sting. l usually do some stretching prior to my glute shots and for me they are by far the most comfy and painless. l have a nice big miror in my master bath l use to guide the initial injection site as well as some nice bright lighting. The top outer quadrant of the glute is where l pin and of that quadrant area the least painful and smoothest has been the lower middle area.

Still trying to figure out the ventro-glute so I can try it. I've looked at a bunch of diagrams but find it hard to relate to my own physiology.

I was told to look into that. I think that will be my next step when I figure it out. Quad has been clutch for me though.

I thought all test injection are supposed to be IM.

A lot of folks and doctors are switching to sub-q. It was shown to give slightly more stable serum levels and you can often maintain serum levels with a slightly lower dose. I think really it comes down to personal preference. Also, sub-q injections over .5 ml can leave a bump.

Yeah sub c is a lot easier as I do it with HCG. If anyone has any experience and results I would much appreciate. For now I'm sticking to the quad!

Thats why I ask, many people say they are the next big thing, but not a lot of people have actually tried them. They look great on paper but practical application is 50/50 or less. Just saying I am not sure its the next big thing. It does work for some and I commend them for finding the right way to massage their therapy, but many people do not like them.

I am not discounting the benefits they may offer, but lately it just seems like there is a sub c cheerleading team around here lol but not everyone that advocates them has really even tried them, thats all I am saying.

Hope things are still going great with the nutrition company! and good luck as always brother!

I am waiting a few more months to see what the verdict is....but if the continue to prove that it does work with very high percentages then I will switch to it for sure. Seems a lot easier.

i have spoken to a few people who do it and say they do well with it.. so we will see

I was concerned about pinning ventroglute until I jammed a pin & felt absolutely no pain. Don't stress too much about the diagrams...find the bony part of your hip bone at the front/side of your waist line, go down 3-4" and pin. Watch out for veins though, not sure about everyone else but i have some massive ones that run sub-q across both ventroglutes.a

just pinned my first sub q testosterone injection.. about 3 1/2 inches to the right of my belly button... absolutely no pain in injection.. no pain for now afterwords.. ill see how i feel tomorrow..

i injected 100mg at 1/2 cc btw.. did it with a 25g 1 inch needle (still waiting on my 26g half inch ones)

Awesome, I think this is definitely what I will be trying next.

Good luck! Keep us all updated. I especially would like to hear if you feel any different throughout the week or if you feel the same positive effects of TRT
