I notice the U.S guys are lucky enough to have private labs , bypassing the need for GP.
i have done my baselines through my doctor but it may seem a bit odd to him if i keep asking for hormone panel midcycle and post pct etc etc....are there any private labs here in sydney ??

What do my fellow aussies do?

I haven't found any private labs in Aus. What I've been doing though is going to a Bulk Billing GP and getting blood work done there in between visits with my TRT doc. I simply explain to the GP that I'm on TRT and need to be monitored.
You might be best off finding a bulk billing GP, being upfront about AAS use and tell them you want to keep things monitored. Surely there are some GP's who'll care enough about your health to help you out.

Thanks for that...yes i guess i could go into a random GP and ask for bloods....may be a bit uncomfortable but we need the bloods..cheers

It would only be a random GP until you found one who won't condemn you for AAS use. Then just establish a relationship from there. At the end of the day Doctors are meant to be there to help people, they help alcoholics and chain smokers. I really don't see why a Doc would refuse to help an AAS user. And if they do, ask them what happens if you leave there and have a heart attack or stroke from elevated HCT, because they refused to test you.

Yeah I've never found any private labs in Oz either. Although it doesn't matter for us like it does the muricans, our records aren't shared with insurance companies etc... Ours are much more private. The only thing you need to watch out for is if your considering pursueing a career with the ADF.... Aussie army will review your medical records upon applying. Possibly Police service too? Not sure on that one. If your confident your not going down that track though, go nuts get on cycle bloods and everything through a willing GP. Your good to go.

Already done my time in the army...and run my own business so im all set :-)....its just the akward conversation im nit looking forward to

I literally just went and got my pre-cycle bloods done today. I told my doctor why, he knows. They justify the frequency of blood tests by popping a little narrative in the request that might say something along the lines of, 'Patient is suffering from lethargy, low libido, insomnia etc.' This way, it will be bulk billed. No justification for the tests can mean an invoice rocks up in the mail. There shouldn't be any awkward conversation between you and your doctor. If there is, you need to see a new doctor.

yeah just go to bulk billing thats what i do, my doc is foreign but hes cool, i find the younger and foreign doctors are more inclined to give you what you want .eg. bloodwork every month or so.
