I use a 23 gauge 1inch. I usually pin my delts. I get a knot every once and a while. I do the usual massaging of the spot after. Heating pad every once and a while. But was wondering do people pulll there pinz out quickley after injection. or slowly after injection. Ive experimented with both, but still get swelling and a knot . I was going to try a 25 gauge next cycle when my guy can get them maybe it will have less sweling due to smaller diameter. Anyone have any other advice to keep swelling down and getting minimul knots ? Thanks . By the way ive been doin 2.5cc Test Cyp = 625mg. Thanks people.

gauge size wont make a significant difference..You are injecting too much of a substance into your delt muscle..if you want less swelling do only 1-.1.5cc...You also want to Z-track your injections which is hard to do if your injecting yourself just need more practice...i'm a nurse by the way so from experience

1.) Z track skin
2.) insert needle at moderate to fast speed 90 degree angle
3.) pull back to see if you hit a blood vessel (if you hhave blood returns take out the needle and apply pressure) do another site
4.) inject the drug at a moderate pace (within atleast 5 seconds)
5.) Remove needle at a fast pace (right away 1-2 seconds) I know the link says 10 seconds trust me do it in 1-2 seconds
6.) let go of the Z-track directly after removing the needle

You can get a hematoma or prolonged swelling by injecting a needle wrong which can fuck up your workouts and recovery so I advise you learn how to do it right man...

Also theres research on people damaging there sciatic nerve from intramuscular gluteal injections..so if you do glut injections have someone else do it for you or do the upper outer area of the gluts or avoid the gluts all together

Rotate your injection sites every time to decrease subcutaneous breakdown and prevent muscle scaring..

O here's a nursing link to go down to the 4th page where it says Ztrack

This is not a hospital bro and we are not injecting by those standards....I too am in the medical profession and the way I inject my patients is not the way I inject myself. All your steps there are correct for IM injects in the hospital atmosphere. Now if you are injecting yourself then the glutes imo are the best places to inject...very painless. Although I can't reach back there very well I do require some help on those areas. There are quite a few people that can do it on their own as well.

Also you do not need to use the z track method...that is just there to trap the compound in the area which you injected it in therefore no leakage...keeping the needle in for 30 seconds after the inject will provide the same results and is much easier.

You also do not have to inject the compounds within 5 sec....that is a rediculous rule.

Injecting at moderate to fast speed will cause more muscle damage....I inject myself very slowly as I can feel when I'm getting close to a nerve and I can adjust my angle.

When aspirating, if you draw up blood instead of bubbles, then either push the needle in farther or pull it out a little until you do get bubbles...no need to stick yourself again.

It makes no difference how fast u pull the needle out...that's just nonsense.

You can inject 5ml into quads and glutes and 3ml into delts based on pharmacological standards

Yeah personally I inject slowly, like a ML over a 30 second period and then after the injection is finished I leave the pin in for another 30 seconds or so to avoid leakage. I use slin pins though so its a little different.

nice thanks guys all good info. ya i was thinkin 2.5 into the delt may be too much. but i meen someimtes i get these knots and swelling. and sometimes i dont. basically im just altering little things here and there to find my right method. i did find that pulling the needle out faster seemed better cause ive done it slow, and my muscle started to twitch n that time i got a really bad knot.i do my quauds eveyr onces and a while when rotating between delts.

ya ive been using a heating pad and rubbing it while its on there as well... seems to work nicely, the swelling has gone down a little bit, and the pain has gone down a little bit too. I meen ive hit the dels with 2ml many times and gotten knots before. but the gear i was using before was questionable. i have some good pharm grade shit now, and the fact its gone down the day after a lil bit is good. the other times it got worse before better haha. but ya my next one will be my quad, gotta rotate sites anyways. ive also found , the mornings ive done injectins into my delts , and the same day i worked my delts, never got a knot or pain. but ya when injecting i do always consider a lil pain and swelling when pokin a muscle haha not the biggest deal. but just lookin for any other methods to help the injection go as good as possible. thanks again people
