most amps come with a dot. legit amps. the dot is there for a reason its where you put your thumb an push away from you and the amps open easy. put your thumb just above the dot and push.

TBH, im just gonna be safe and buy the amp opener, I like to have everything perfect thats just who I am lol.

Found it for $7 on this website so will go ahead and order, but until it comes I'll try the thumb on dot for next injection.

Ok so I tried the pen cap idea and wrapped the amp with toilet paper so I dont cut my hand, didn't go so well, all the glass got caught in the neck of the amp, definitely don't wanna resort to that anymore.

IMO, I think its best to just buy the amp opener and do it properly (as everything else with this cycle is being proper, mod as well keep it going).

Can amp openers be bought in stores or would I have to order online?

Im not sure if you can buy them from a pharmacy....but you can definitely order one online..I got mine from here...(i have to put spaces between the name cause this dumb ass shit wont let me post a legal site.....research.....supply.......net

even with an amp opener you can get glass in the amp....but breaking it without one is an even better way of getting glass in it....very messy imo

you can use the tab on the top of a pop can to open your pop....but instead lets jab a screwdriver through it and drink through the jagged hole....

I just snap the top off those fuckers. In the hospital setting much of the narcotics, neosynephrine, ephedrine, etc etc are in glass ampules. You break the top and suck it out. Dont make it a bigger deal than needs to be.

All that assumes the amps you have are good and not from some backyard glass blower or something

nate....your hospital doesnt use amp openers?? Thats odd to me as mine requires us to use them

I dunno, I guess I'll try to angle more over the sink or something, I dont like the idea of the whole neck of amp filling up with glass..I'm sure I'll get used to it.

that is an option but only due to some OSHA issues requirements not for purity of the drug but secondary to the possibility of cuting yourself on the glass edge, which is possible. I have never had an issue with this.

The first time I cracked one of those it was a little strange but the key is just to break it fast with impunity!. dont hold back it is not going to bite.

Think about the trauma kits, like field trauma stuff. You crack the fuckers and roll.

It is one of those things that if you think about it to much thats when the issues happen.

I'm not saying the poppers are bad just that these glass amps have been around forever and people have been snapping them. Like det said a pen cap will also work well if you are worried about your fingers.
