question about pinning quads...

I do not like using a large needle to draw because it causes coring. 23G is perfect for drawing AND injecting. 1 inch or 1.5 depending on your personal genetics and bodyfat content. 1 inch is good for most people below 15% BF
 
Pinned smack dab in the middle of my upper quad yesterday and have a charlie horse like mutherfuker today. Haven't felt that in a while. I notice stretching the skin instead of pinching makes for much easier and painless insertion.
 
For quads stick to upper outer area. I agree with the above, you should have more injection sites. I injected quads, glutes and my favourite are delts.

For glutes, you have two spots you can inject, gluteus maximus and gluteus medius. I have started injecting into my gluteus medius and actually love it. It's easier to reach and there is sizeable muscle there. You may feel a little uncomfortable injecting so high b/c it can seem like you're injecting into your hips, but it works well.

For all my injections I use 25 guage 1.5 inch, but for shoulders I do not have the needle all the way in (like only 1 inch in).

draw lines and bullshit didnt know how technical pinning was!
u must spend an hour on pin days, going through your technical book to see if everything is done right

:splat: oncegain i never said draw lines, i was implying to imagine your quad is split in 4, like if you had lines drawn. then pin the upper outer quadrant. HOLY SHIT batman. eh whatever, we'll just tell the new guy to pin it where the fuck ever instead of taking the time to give him clear instructions.
 
thanks bro...yeah the glutes are sore like all the time now...itll be time to pin again this tuesday so i ll give the quads a shot, just got my pinnacle order so im excited to try this stuff. i may need a little more direction on trying delts or ventro glutes...but for now this will be much needed relief...thanks don...
 
right on, thanks matt, yeah right now im pinning 3x's a week. every third day...test e w a tren a backload 1 cc each same pin...damn by the time i make it back to my glutes with this rotation they should be fresh as a daisy, ha!
 
word...im kinda locked in to my 1.5 23gage...i got a damn box of 100 pins hahahahaha! im sure an inch would be perfect for everywhere else, except for my badonka butt :)
 
well, i stated w 1 cc of test e and 1 cc of tren a, but i can tell my gear is underdosed, so i went up to 2cc test e 1 cc tren a in one pin...whats wierd is i think i may have messed up my back because of it. since ive been pinning in my glutes this whole time, when i bumped up my dosage, and i pin 3 x's a week, i think all the gear in my glutes was kinda sweeling up my muscle and putting pressure on my siatic nerves, in turn causing back pain. that was the main reason i wanted to pin elsewhere...but i just got my order of pinnacle gear so im going to start that at 1cc 3x's/wk and see where im at. shouldnt be a problem anymore...
 
My first pin was last monday on pinnacle test in the glute..My ass was incredibly fucking sore for 5days...everyday the pain got worse....Thursday in the quad, and holy shit I could hardly walk with today I'm still limping, but I can tell it will finally feel better tommorow...BRUTAL.
Today I had to go with my delt and it hardly hurts at all...I'm avoiding my left glute and quad as long as I can.. I construct/build swimming pools and I can't have these crazy excuses for weeks to come ( said I slipped and hit my hip on a bottom step) I know If I go left glute/quad I will endure the same pain=sucks ass. Didn't take into consideration pinning pain.
 
i cant comment on quads or delts, but i know for me, when i started my cycle on june first i started pinning every 3 days...and i gotta tell ya, i was blaming the pain on everything i could think of...i told myself the injection pain has gotta be from my homebrewed tren, its gotta be from GL test e is bunk...but after pinning like the third time the pain got alot more manageable. i think its worst first couple pins. i mean, i still have soreness after pinning but not as bad and not for as long...
