Physique need help rough idea of body fat%?

Started TRT 6 months ago, been working out 5 months. My Free Test was 2.32 (5-21) Total T 145 (221-846) had no appetite weight got down to 185lbs. That was unhealthy skinny bastard weight. Now on TRT weight is up back more healthy but I can't seem to get ripped working out 4 days a week. diet isn't the greatest and drink boos (Whisky) At bedtime.. I know I'm nothing compared to the many studs on here but need some help. I've always had issues with never being able to gain weight. was one of those out of shape skinny dudes and it was a mental fuck show.especially having Testosterone @ 145? (221-847)

30 lbs of (assuming mostly) lean mass in 5 months? That's fantastic. You've upped your metabolism by a lot, now it's time to refine the diet. Do you have pre TRT pics? If so post them.

I started trt about the same time as you, then cycled for 2 months and I'm still not satisfied with body fat, even though it's gone from 20 to 15% and my overall mass is up by 6kg. When I look at pics from 5 months ago it's night and day. This stuff takes time. Keep on hitting the gym and get your diet on point. Diet is the biggest factor in reducing BF. Oh, and stop drinking.

I'd guess around 17 or 18% BF

I have thought of upping my TRT dose to 200mg a week which would put me on a small cycle I suppose. I think 200mg of Test a week is basically cycling a small dose.
 
Post your TRT bloodwork. I come in at the top of the range at 225/week, so that's not a cycle for me. Everybody is different. What are your test levels now? What's your TRT protocol? You may want to post in the TRT section.

Wait until you're dialed in for a good year before you start thinking about supraphysiological doses. This is important as you still are likely subject to somewhat frequent doctor ordered blood tests and as you stated - your diet needs work.

Your results are directly affected by what you eat. It doesn't matter if you're taking 5,000mg or your current dose; if you don't feed your body properly, you won't get out of it what you're hoping for.

I learned this the hard way.

Oh, and 200mg/wk is not a cycle dose for everyone as GaijinJapan stated. That puts me around 650ng/dL. :)

Good advice thanks, do you guys drink boos on TRT? My blood pressure has always been fine before TRT but for some reason TRT and Boos drives my blood pressure way up there even with my E2 on point and blood donations

Once a year. But I'm in this for the lifestyle, which means no empty calories. :)

for bp issues try this

400mg chelated magnesium
4-600mg potassium
3mg cialis a day

been on trt forever and my bp has never gone over 130
 
Any thoughts on taking two out of the 3 to start off? The potassium and magnesium at first.?

STOP THE DRINKING :dunno: ... Hello , you hear it al the time. So if you are not interested in stopping 100% then cut it back, way back. You know this but why put all the compounds and vitamins and minerals in your body and continue to drink?

I'm sorry but the boos issue just stands out as you even asked about it. You can almost do anything in moderation even on TRT or on cycle or off. I know this because I can testify as a recovering drug n alcohol addict for so, so many years. But remember it will lessen your returns as to the positive
things you work for.

I don't know if I have that write but with the possibility of a max amount of LMM a man can gain in one year being aprox 20 lbs what do you think this gain of 30 lbs is in LMM for the 5 months. Again just talking facts so we understand what's real and not real.

OH PS:.......... how much of the belly is from alcohol ??

You juice head Pretty good advice thanks... my alcohol intake was almost double the amount I drink now when I got down to 185lbs, I cut back when I started TRT. This updated stomache isn't to bad for with the boos and not working out the abs. I'm going to work hard a cutting back the boos more and better diet. View attachment 564731

muscle mike is exactly right .. nightly whiskey drinking is absolutely inconsistent with a healthy fit lifestyle and building muscle . its catabolic and causes other catabolic issues as well (like stripping your body of b vitamins, which are responsible for the absorption of nutrients).. its toxic to every cell in your body, and strips you of everything you need for building muscle and getting ripped.

immediately stopping the nightly boos, would be equivalent to jumping on a well put together anabolic stack, say a 12 week cycle of test, deca, dbol kicker,, yes I believe quitting drinking is that 'anabolic' , especially quitting nightly whiskey drinking .

i know from experience. a half a bottle of whiskey every night for 10 years.. i still fall back into the bad habit on occasions and end up on a few month downer, but here is what happens if i do , I loose 40 pounds of muscle, i get skinny and have loose skin and develop stomach and chest fat .. so I loose muscle and gain fat . just from the boos and all that comes with doing that daily. If I take a year off of the boos and train and diet, I'm up 40 pounds and sit at 12% body fat.

try quitting completely for 6 months, diet and train, and you'll be amazed and you'll know 100% that the boos were absolutely holding you back. you CANNOT achieve any of your fitness goals while drinking whiskey every night
