Replacining meat protein with whey

im Karim, 33, from Algeria.

i would have your opinion concerning the replacement of meat and chicken protein by whey. as in my country a 4lb whey costs 90usd, and a 1kg of meat 18usd (basic salary is 300usd), it is cheaper to buy Whey than meat.
do you think whey could replace meat?


i would be grateful if you could share your opinion.

Use the advance search option there are threads on this discussion. Powders are ok to supplement but real food is better then whey. I don't think you can have 5 whey shakes and get the same result as eating real protein.

I think you messed up your post. 1kg is roughly 2.2lbs. It is then 36usd for 4.4lbs of meat (18usd for 2.2lbs times 2) and 90usd for 4lbs of whey. You can buy around 3 times as much meat as whey for the same amount of money.
