Restart Protocol..HCG and CLOMID..ADVICE

Haha sorry old man I guess I skipped over that part.

So do you think you should have tried this restart cycles before you tried TRT?

Thanks again!

At this point, yes, that is my conclusion.

I was going to wait to elaborate on this very point but since you asked it is worth answering.

Based on what I am seeing and feeling at this point, I feel as though I "jumped the gun" so to speak in going the Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) route.

Clearly, I should have tried this protocol as a restart first.

That said, let me explain why I jumped to Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) so quickly as opposed to going through this protocol for a restart.

About 20 years ago, I was a competitive national level body builder. I was pretty successful and consistently placed in the top 3 in my weight class in the national shows I did.

In achieving that success, I did my share of steroid cycles. To be honest, I really loved the feeling of being on cycle and seeing and watching my body grow. It was an amazing feeling.

After my third national show, at 23 years old, I reached a crossroad. I had graduated from my master's program and I was heading toward my PhD. I knew that competing and a PhD program were two diametrically opposed activities. My life was going to be in academics and not in competing in show.

At that time, I gave up competing and doing steroids. However, I never quit training or dieting. It was the structure that allowed me to organize and succeed so I kept it in place.

Fast forward 15 years and my naturally high hormone levels are dropping and I am looking for a solution.

The thought having the feeling of being "on cycle" again was very appealing to me. Of course, Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is not a cycle but it was as close as I was going to get to that "old feeling" again and I ran with the it.

Wrong choice? I don't know but certainly, it was not as well though out a choice as I typically make.

So there is the long answer to the short question.

Going to have to try that restart cashout, at my age I don't want to be on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) forever. I imagine I am going to want to have kids one day, and I don't like the idea of depending on medication, though testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) is a better alternative to feeling like shit. With me being 21 and now I am starting to think the maximus team, while they may be good at what they do, might not want to mess around with someone my age for ethical or possibly legal reasons, would Dr. Crisler be a good option cause my current endo, when it comes to testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) or restarting the HPTA honestly knows less than me or is just very old school.

Sorry - how did you feel during the restart? Was it hard work emotionally?

Never had any issue emotionally or physically. The only thing I noticed was that my physique was not as hard and grainy after 4 weeks of the clomid.

Of course, I am not one of these emotional guys. Never have been in my 42 years. I can't say I've ever been depressed and I've never been on any kind of depression or anxiety meds like many folks. I am a very even keeled and grounded person mentally and emotional so this was not any kind of emotional challenge for me.

I had my last blood draw on the 5th of March and my numbers were still very stable and right around 900 ng/dl which is right where they have always been naturally.

How about in comparison to when on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT)? Would you reccomend this restart to others?

I feel great on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) as well and there was no real difference between when I was on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT), during my exit, and now.

The only real difference for me was pre-TRT when my natural test levels were suppressed.

I'm not an MD so I make no recommendations to others regarding what I did or their individual health needs.

This was my own personal experience and I decided to journal it here so that others might read about what I was doing with the help of my MD.

Fair comments. Is that higher dose Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) required?

Depends one one's condition and what they are attempting to address.

Again, I can't make general statements about some hypothetical need without knowing the specific context for which I am being asked to opine.

Obviously, this is not a one-size-fits-all application. It was designed for my specific purpose and based on an extensive review of the available medical literature with the assistance of several competent medical professionals.

Would you care to give your opinion on my situation. Been on testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for 6 months, 180mg test/wk and aromasin. No hcg. Levels weren't super low prior, about 400. Didn't do restart prior to starting. Should have. Want to come off and try restart. I have Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG), aromasin, clomid, and possibly Nolvadex. Would you think a restart similar to yours would be a good option?

Based on just those few inputs, I wouldn't hazard a guess.

I would suggest you converse with your testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) doctor and discuss a possible exit strategy designed for your needs and built on your history.

Hey cash, during this whole exit strategy did you go through ups and downs as far as strength and endurance are concerned and did you change you workout or diet around? Also did you ever have any sexual problems taking all these serms and ai's?
