Restoring Hormonal axis with clomiphene

Hi,
Im a 27yo male who had depressions and ED, but NO impairments of libido for a couple of years. Not getting out of the depressions I decided to take a blood test which said my Testo was around 3 [range 3-12] with a SHBG at the lower edge of the range, which means high free testo. I asked the doctor wether he could prescribe me some testo and used testogel for 3 months in a row. I felt like newborn during that time and was really happy but quit the treatment 3 months later because I was afraid of the side effects especially regarding fertility. After I quit the treatment I realized my balls had atrophied a bit and that I got hot flushes for a couple of weeks. I did a blood test which said my hormones were back in place before the treatment. However since I did the 3 months treatment I almost completely lost my libido. I used to look after girls in the streets. Nowadays I just look at them without any excitement. Today Im pretty sure that my depressions were testo-unrelated because Im not depressed anymore. The ED was probably due to consuming too much porn.
I would like get my libido back because this has been putting a high stress on me for at least a year now. However I wouldnt like to do TRT for life because I still want to get children.
Therefore I thought about using clomiphene to try to push my hormonal axis into activation.
The plan is to use clomid 50mg /day for 4 weeks. What do you think about the idea?

a restart with clomid may help, but i would advise to do it through a doctor because they will probably be more effective at treating it.

Did you check your e2 levels? I've been battling e2 for a long time and if your e2 is high it won't matter...E follows T...what are you LH and FSH levels? Also i'd get your thyroid levels checked too...my dr gave me some anxiety medication to help keep some of the mental sides away which ahs helped ALOT..once your head gets fucked up everything else follows its a terrible cycle seems almost impossible to get out of

Have you ever cycled before?

Yeah estrogene is in the normal area, as far as I remember it was really low. LH/FSH are normal-middle range. The calculated free Testo was middle range AFTER the three months testogel application. I never cycled before. I just took that stuff because I had been depressive for 5-6 years in a row and was really desperate in the end. The doc told me 3 months Testogel wont hurt anything and I believed him. Actually I never heard that sb. can destroy his axis with testo gel, so I decided to try it out and I really felt better.
Should I use HCG, too? As far as I heard HCG is a bit dangerous because of supression of the cerebral part of the axis.

I am learning a whole lot of stuff from interacting on this fourm...just keep involved ask question post bloods and be honest that the best way to go..depression doesn't have to come from low T. However if your e2 is in range and your T is infact low they maybe be within range but not in balance with each other.

I would

appreciate help regarding the original question. Would you recommend 4 weeks clomiphene 50 mg/day for axis regeneration? Do you have other ideas?
