Rope Straight Bar Pyramid from 3J

I just grabbed a workout and diet from 3J and rope straight bar pyramid was one of the exercises, not sure what this is and Google didn't assist. Someone want to fill me in please?
 
I'm pretty sure it's:
My gym doesn't really have those attachments, so I just do a cable curl machine in the same fashion as stated. I prefer to do them later in the workout as this one can really fatigue your muscles quickly.

I did similar to what you did this morning when I didn't know what this was. The rope and straight bar in the same title threw me. He has it in my routine to do twice in my Friday workout and I do it essentially to failure with dropping weight along the way until there isn't anything on the bar. I liked what I did this morning and it looks like it will be a suitable replacement so I'll stick with it.

Thanks man! I'm sure you'll really enjoy what 3J has put together as it not only gets you in and out of the gym quickly, but you STILL grow. I love Fridays as I'm still barely able to walk from leg-day-Thursdays and get to feel that pump in my arms from doing bis and tris. Good times. :D

It's definitely a routine I need to get used to. I like splitting bis/tris from beginning of the week to end so they get hit secondary more often. Also there aren't many exercises on the list each day, just four sets and scattered reps. Definitely an adjustment BUT I told 3J he could drive the ship so that's what I'm doing and I admit, I'm excited about it.
 
Yeah, his program is quite different from what I was used to, but I have zero complaints and am loving the results so far. I can't recommend him enough! Looking forward to more updates in your log! :)
