Rotator is killing me

Couple weeks ago i tore my rotator cuff. Recently it's been feeling better i been laying off direct shoulder sets, and was getting my delt work on chest days because when Bench pressing i don't feel pain. So i figured i would try doing shoulder presses today and the pain was too much couldnt get up one rep, tried doing with light weight and had same problem. Should i lay off direct shoulder workouts all together, and just keep getting my delt work on chest day?

considering it only happened a couple of weeks ago I probably wouldn't even be doing my chest work out if it was me

I mainly dont have any pain, i usually only feel the pain if im laying on my side for a long period of time then try moving my arm, and today when i attempted to do a set of shoulder presses.

Do some rear delt work with cables. It helps with the imbalance which is most likely your problem.

Get someone to design a good rehab program for you, and follow it for several weeks, no chest or shoulder work other than that. You need rest and rehab, not 'just doing chest work because it doesn't hurt'

I dont do any delt presses, because of the incline bench work (steep). So if you have the same situation, consider dropping presses or greatly decreasing volume/weights used.
