Hey boys, so I have low t, went to a endo for it, endo made me do some blood tests for 3 months no meds and come back, went back today, she said my test and thyroid were low (borderline low) but I'm 27 and they shud be borderline high IMO, but she would rather start to try and treat the thyroid first rather than straight up testosterone, her wording was because testosterone can lead to infertility in the future and natty t shutdown which is true, so she prescribed me synthroid .075mg daily with hopes that this will help overall and help me also produce more test. And would like me to do some more blood tests every 1.5 months and come back in a about 4 months (she will call if any of my blood work is abnormal). I want to do another test cycle but obviously won't be for a long time lol, will try and get everything fixed I guesse. Just looking for your guys thoughts on the treatment for now thanks

Below are my blood work and posts from before if anyone needs a little history

Thank you

Looks like you found an endo that's intimidated by testosterone. Can thyroid issues impact testosterone? Yes. Is that your problem given your history? Doubtful.

Low T can most certainly impact the thyroid, which your endo is either ignoring or is just ignorant about. In either case, she's not qualified to treat you as she's either being disingenuous or ignorant.

As someone that will NEVER be able to come off TRT (I'm primary), I do suggest that you exhaust every attempt to restart. However, you want to cycle again - which WILL make recovery harder and harder every time you do it.

You have a difficult choice to make; recover and put AAS behind you for good, or bite the bullet and commit to TRT in order to remain in the lifestyle. You cannot have both indefinitely.

My .02c :)

To add to HW s post would be both fool hardy and pointless.

The difference between doctors and god is god knows he s no doctor. To many doc s are either not proficient or fail to practice their trade pro-actively as they are running scared from the DEA s new rx software which has turned that HALO they are accustomed to have over their heads to a noose around their neck. ( Maynard-Tool/Perfect Circle)
My gp actually asks me for my opinion when he s a bit wary or not sure with reference to trt treatment. It s not that I am so proficient or knowledgeable but I m ON TRT, he s my buddy and he knows I ll run by the experts here if I m clueless to the q he poses. He write s my rx bi annually knowing I need the rx for work and travel mainly as getting test is really ez if your nobodies fool.

Me personally I would rather be on TRT for life than have border line low levels of testosterone. It just really sucks having low testosterone I don't even care about the muscle as much as just every day quality of life. It took me a long time to get my docter to perscribe me TRT when he finally did I almost had to ask him to repeat himself I could barely believe I was finally getting it.

My level was 400. Now over 1500 and i dont feel god damn thing. Yes i feel difference 200 vs 400 but why not 400 vs 1500. I dont know.

Could be a lot of different factors maybe your estrogen is to high or to low. It could also depend on how long you had low levels around 400. I personally notice a pretty big difference quickly when my levels are at 1500 compared to 400 my body definetely looks different and I feel a little bit euphoric.

Get a new doctor. Synthroid is garbage. im hypothyroid and have be for 20 years. Aske her for armor thyroid and have her test your Lh and a fsh. Then get her to perscribe ether hcg or clomid. And then find an other doctor.
