hey guys, friday is my day for squats, leg presses etc. but I have a Poolie function sat morning at 6. it's a Marine Corps gathering for all the offices to get together and do a mini boot camp exercise, i expect to have a full body work out and be running for atleast 3 miles with different cardio exercises.

I was wondering if i should just skip friday's leg day and save energy for sat?? im on gear and hate to skip any muscle group..

i figure i'd be getting a similar breakdown on the legs from sat lol

what do you guys think?

Definitely I would skip the leg workout on Friday. On Saturday I would even judge how you feel before going ahead with them as well. Listen to your body.

I totally understand where you are coming from; hate missing days that I've scheduled. For myself I record everything; have for over 11 years. I find this part of my commitment when I pen myself in to work out certain days and absolutely hate when I have to scratching it out. I also always feel bad to bump days but I realize I still have to live and that missing a day will not be the end of the world; no matter how I feel about it.

Have fun.

yeah lol, it kills me to skip any day. it's my passion and I look forward to gym every day, makes me all angry and shit inside when I have to skip or gym is closed haha. I just wanted to get maximum for my body while im on gear but at same time do not want to over train or be any less than my best for a PFT. Like you I have a set and planned training regiment that I live by cutting it out just kills me. but im sure I will get my share on sat lol.
