should i start 5x week#?

ok after i finish this cycle im gonna take my week break which i have every 3 moths but when i come back im going to start training 5 x per week at the moment i train 4 x a week training each body part twice with 2 exercises, 5x a week i will train 2 or may once really intensive, my question is who does this?, have you had good results,?? and i assume it will help- burn a little more fat
 
Well lets be scientific here. Lifting weights burns calories, lifting weights or doing jumping jacks alone wont do shyt for weight gain. I know that you know that pullin'.

If you want to burn fat then you have to clean up your diet, cardio helps. Lifting weights to gain LBM creates parasitic loss (muscle burns calories to maintain existence), so it will 'speed your metabolism' so to speak.

Are you doing circuit training or HST or what? If you are looking for mass I would highly recommend a normal routine, training the body 4 times a week or 5 times a week is insane for muscle building and high intensity workouts. I have gone up to 3x a week when I was friggin 18 and I could handle it, grew like a mother and still have the stretch marks 10 years later. In todays world I train 5x a week whole body ONCE and no moooooooore, I take weekends off unless I do cardio.

When I am deeper into a cycle volume goes up and sometimes frequency, as I see fit (I go by feel).
 
i meant adds muscle. you got me on that one mudgy. it was a typo. you guys keep a check on me and make sure i aint lying. lololololol i ought to start posting some nonsense, like i just did by mistake, and see if anyone catches it. can i use my mulligan on that one?
 
i train 5 days on (mon-fri) with the weekends off. this is the way i have always done it and i have been getting great results. i train every body part once really intesive but making sure the workouts dont last over an hour.
my training split is as follows:
monday - back (quick four arm excersize at the end)
tuesday - chest (end with a quick couple sets of tricep press downs)
wednesday - legs
thursday - shoulder, calvs
friday - triceps and biceps, four arms
i try to work in abs 3 times a week at the end of my work out
at the moment i am not doin cardio since i am landscaping and i find i sweat more than enough doin that.

i hope that might have given u some ideas
