Shoulder routine

Hey guys, just wanted to get some help with designing a Shoulder routine.

Current Routine-

Machine Press 3 sets

Rear delts - 4 sets
Side lat standing - 3 sets
DB side lats single arm - 2 sets
Uprights - 4 sets

Is this to much? is it any good, lol. Any advice would be appreciated

P.S thanks for all the help with the other posts ive put up.

why machine press? why not free weight or db?

also, why do single arm side lats when you have side lats already?

how has this been going for you?

i'd suggest

ohp 5x5 or 2x10 or whichever
side lats 2x10
front raise 2x10
and that's it.

Here's my current shoulder routine (plus other things) done at the first day of the week.
Been doing it for about 1 month with good results.
Keep rest time between exercises short.
Keeping moving and staying heavy with good form is the idea.

-BB military press - 12x10x6.. 2 assisted reps (past failure)

-Seated DB lateral raise - 12
-Cable lateral raise - 10.. again few reps past failure.

BB shrugs 10x8 (rear delts get done on back day)

Triceps

-Cable press-downs 12X10X8
-Skull crushers 10x8
-One-arm machine ext 10x8

Abs - 3 sets of 20 of 3 different exercises.

Thanks guys, i think ill modify my workout a bit to -

DB press 4 sets
Read Delt 4 sets
Side lat 3 sets
Shrugs 4 sets

Im pretty front Delt dominant and need to work on capping my shoulders thats why i have been doing the extra side raises but dont think ive been getting much out of it.

Ill see how this workout goes after a few weeks

be sure to properly warm up before doing anything especially dem shoulders.

i took warm up and stretches for granted and fucked my shoulders for a while. now i always do shoulder warm ups before starting any presses.

dem rotator cuffs are a bitch

I would especially do a short warmup set for my rotator cuffs. Also I would add for you to definatly include BB military Press and behind the back BB shrugs

if you are having trouble with your rotator cuffs i would be very careful man,is it torn or inflamed? i just had shoulder impingement surgery back in jan and my surgeon told me to strengthen my rotator cuffs after my chest day and my shoulder day,and make sure you do them AFTER you work out or 48 HOURS BEFORE....he told me to do like chest on mondays and when i finished my routine, then do 6 different rotator cuff excercises after you work your big muscles, since they are already torn and ripped after working them out, work your smaller muscles with light weight and they will both heal together, dont work your rotators first, wait till after your chest and shoulder days,at least thats what my surgeon told me to do,my rotators werent torn, one of them was just inflamed, they are tricky muscles for sure and so easy to injure

Hey guys, sry for not posting for a while, shoulder is still cactus, going to see Physio today as had enough of the pain. Havent done a proper chest workout for almost 5 weeks i think and shoulder work is average at best. Pretty sure the rotater is inflamed, not torn as i can still do most things and only hurts on incline chest work, did DB bench ok? weird, lol.
