could someone make up a routine for me.... or help me out. right now i am doing the basic routine given below.

Monday- chest/tri's

tuesday-back/ bi's

wednesday-legs/calfs

thursday-abs/little cardio/lacking muscle

Friday- bi's/tri's

there is some small probelms i would like to change with this. on monday my shoulders get a workout from all the benching..etc, and then the next day I do back and my shoulders are still sore... isnt that bad ? because when you do back workouts your shoulders come into play. other than that I like this routine because I can hit my arms twice in 1 week. so is there any way to switch it up so this does not happen ? what works good for you ?

and No iam not overtraing

well i wouldnt train tris with chest bis with back if you are doing your chest workout correctly you wont be able to go and do any real isolation on your tris after they will be spent same thing on your back day. you dont have any shoulder workouts on your schedule if i was going to neglect a body part to train it would be arms before shoulders because your bi/tris are allready getting a workout from back/chest&shoulder training

i dont see the need to train armas if you run tris with bench...

i used to do a split similar to this with all the ps movements on the same day qand pull movements on the same...i think lee labrada has a split similiar to that..

i now work the following, but i train heavy..and am an old guy...so who knows...

chest

back and bi's

legs

shoulders and tris

and i run a day off in between...it also depends on the movements you want to use....

there are a ton of workouts to search out here...also depends on what you want to do with your training...

if your inerested incardio, you can throw that in on an off day..

This works for me, it keeps everything seperated with adequate rest (1 week between directly working each bodypart [save bis/tris]) For instance, on Monday, my shoulders will get somewhat fatigued, but I wait will Thurs to work them, giving me a 2 day break before shoulder day, and then a 3 day break before chest again. Same goes for hams/quads, back/bis and the tris.

Mon: Chest, light tris (get some solid work, but I don't kill them)

Tues: Hamstrings/Heavy Bi's (Hams: seated/standing leg curls, stiff leg DL, walking lunges, etc)

Wed: Off

Thurs: Shoulders, heavy tris (heavy stuff till I can't use them at all)

Fri: Back Squats, and the rest concentrating on the quads (hack squats, leg presses, leg ext., etc.)

Sat: Back/Light Bi's

Sun: Off

Abs 4-5 days a week depending on the intensity I get in. Calves usually really heavy on Tues, and depending on how they feel, again on fri.

Cardio whenever, I avoid really heavy and draining cardio the day before legs though.
