Slow contracting heart beat

Hi all this is my first post on this very informative site. And first off I wanna say thanks for all the great info. Been researching testosterone for a couple months now and have become very interested. I'm 31 and have been lifting for about 4 years now and I think it's time to bump it up to the next level.

My question is, when I was about 23-24 I was going to do a medical study with a friend but I was disqualified b/c I have a slow contracting heart beat. They said it was not a deal at all, just irregular. It's never affected me at all as far as lifting or sports goes. I've researched slow contracting heart and aas's with no luck in finding any info. Can anybody here shed some light on this subject. Any help is much appreciated.

there really have not been many studies of the heart and steroids... especially one that would involve your case.. why risk it? you know you have a defect.. why do anything that could come close to fatally hurting you?

Bro if you are crazy like me and most dudes in the forum and you just LOVE and need to stand out and u love looking at ur muscles in the mirror etc Lol then I think should go to a doctor who especializes in bodybuilding and steroids (hard to find but im sure there are a few out there.. in Brasil i know 2 doctors that are famous endrocrinologists and have competed in bodybuilding) and consult with him, explain ur situation and im sure he will give u more info than anyone on this forum can..

Just know that unless u r the blackest dude in the world who born and raised in an african tribe wrestling lions as a child with pure black genetics coming from huge black mesomorphs and for some reason ur genes mutated making u even more of a mesomorph with traps coming up to ur ears since u were 5 years old with 2% bodyfat all year long then u wont have a great physique without roids..

Im sorry but unless u have those atributes, even with 3J's diet and best training u just wont get THAT physique that u see on men's physique, bodybuilding or other competitions.. physiques that literally STAND OUT.. U may achieve a good, even great physique if u have good genetics without steroids but its not gonna be anything compared to what you could achieve with roids..

I know that if i were u i would go see a bodybuilder doctor.. As for my opnion i dont think a small cycle of like 300 or even 500mg/week of test will hurt ur heart if you keep ur salt down, measure ur blood pressure daily while on cycle n stuff.. ur problem doesnt seem to be THAT serious compared to other heart deffects..

Thanks for the replies.

Well I don't even know if I would consider it a real problem. I mean I didn't even know about it till test were run on me. Is everybody getting there heart checked before they run there first cycle of test. Probably not.

Damn that sucks! I'm definitely not flying to brazil

Maybe i can get in to a trt clinic just to get my numbers checked and ask him a few Q's

How about you get a referral from your personal physician to see a cardiologist. You may be a fine healthy young man. Get a true diagnosis, then work from there. A twelve lead ECG and treadmill stress test isn't an evasive procedure.

Yes getting my heart checked again is a good idea. If the doc says that my heart is. 100%, just an irreg beat with nothing to worry about then I'm good to go. Just looking to run 500 mg's of test a week.

Oh yeah also I was reading earlier that arrhythmia (irregular heart beat) is extremely common. So there's probably quite a few ppl on this site with arrhythmia and just don't know it.

i also have an irregular heartbeat. sometimes it get's triggered when i'm working out and it flutters for a few minutes then goes away. it skips a beat all the time too, especially when i'm in a resting state. tbh it goes away completely when i'm on cycle. not encouraging you to take a chance, i'm just sharing my experience.

You need an EKG done and even an ultrasound to figure out how your heart beats.
Get those done and post results.
2 very important tests that provide a lot of information.

Mine beats irregular and I think it acts up more on cycle. This may not be true, but I seem to worry more about it while on cycle.

Yeah I really don't think its a deal at all. Waiting for a refferel from my physician though just to get it checked and play safe..... Ok safer
