I need some major help for my workout partner, this guy is 5`9" 212 all upper body and no legs he train s those get away sticks every week and no growth. should he just give it up and stick with the sweats?

first off NEVER GIVE UP .
when you say he trains his legs that doesnt tell us much , list his actual workout for legs including reps/sets/weight . remember be honest or any advice you get will be useless .
 
First of all, I don't know anyone with small legs that squats ass to the grass, 100% effort every leg workout.

Is there a reason that people preach so much about squats? Yes, because they are a great exercise for packing the mass on the quads.

Is there a reason most people avoid doing them? Yes, because it takes a lot of balls to throw all that weight on your back and squat.

If you put 100% into your leg workout, Lift Big weights, Full Range of Motion - YOUR LEGS WILL GROW!!!!
 
What Easto said! Big weight, ass to grass, and IMO, give 5 or 6 rep sets a shot.

I wonder if it's possible for someone to put on so much muscle in the upper body that they reach the body's muscular limit, and therefore could not put muscle on their legs. Any thoughts on this?
 
thanks for the advice guys, tuesday is leg day this it what our leg workout is like , I`m 6`4" 245 and no problem with legs growing. my partner does the same workout with no growth . ex. of leg work out 1x12-135# /1x10 -185/ working sets 1x10-225/1x8-275/1x6-295/2x4-315 , all suats. 4x10-6 reps of leg presses as heavy as possible, 4x8-10 reps leg extensions. hamstrings on back day. just finished 10 week cycle of trebolona and test. please help this dudes arms are 19` quads are 18`. thanks for the help.

you have got to be kidding me? 18 inch quads? where are you measuring, i dont have big legs by any means but just above my knee and around my vastus is almost 20 inches??? how long has he been squatting?

Is this friend of yours a pre-pubescent girl with lots of synthol in her arms?
 
this is my friend, he doesnt know that I`m online asking for advice for him . if he had normal legs he would weigh 230 instead of 212. I read some where that if you shoot winstrol in a certain area you can have what is caled a "localized effect" any truth to that? I think he should lay off the extensions and presses and stick with squats and front squats.
