Yes I am, I take .5 2x a week, same day as my injection. I am a big guy (fat) so I convert a lot of test to E2 so I need the doses I am taking to keep my E2 around 50 which is where I feel best at.

Fertility docs advise 1200 iu a week for maintaining fertility while on TRT. If that doesn't do it patient might need to discontinue TRT for a bit and use slightly higher doses of HCG to get sperm count going.

I'd keep an eye on that. Your body might adjust over time and you may need to lower your a.I. dose.

You make no sense at all, the standard dose is 250iu 2x a week and I happen to be on 300iu 2x a week and you are trying to tell me that my dose isn't enough to counter testicular atrophy? I guess everyone who is on 25oiu 2x a week has it wrong as well.

250 iu. EOD is ok. But keep in mind a guy diagnosed with primary is going to need more than that. Might be ok if you are secondary.....but even then I wouldn't put alot of stock into that low dose keepibg a healthy sperm count while on TRT. You can do anything you want. I'm just sharing my experience with it.

My balls were shriveling up at 350 iu E3D and I was not on alot of T either. 60 mg E3D.
500 I.u. E3D maitained all my size.

I do not have primary hypogonadism and sperm count has never been a concern, I am 42 and there is no desire to have children in my future. My sole desire is to keep my natural production going as little as it might be.

I am on TRT not the type of treatment you are on.

I'm a little confused. In the "ask anything" thread you said that my dose of 500iu 3x/wk was a hefty dose, but it doesn't sound too far off from the doses you mentioned above.

Is it just a simple case of "everybody is different"?

People seem to say that the dose my doctor suggested will lead to E2 issues, but it's only 300iu/wk higher than the minimum accepted dose to remain fertile?

What am I missing here?

How much had your balls shrunk? And how much volume came back?

They have been smaller for years from being shutdown but they did shirk a more when I started trt. I didn't start Hcg until I was 8 weeks into trt because my dr wouldn't prescribe it.

If you were only on TRT for 8 weeks you didn't have very much atrophy to begin with. Atrophy is a slow gradual process when you are on TRT.

It's not bad. But the best thing is to ask your doc what they think. After all they have the degree.
