Spot Reduction? Fact or Fiction

I just wanted to know if you guys believed in spot reduction for losing fat? Such as love handles, back of thigh, etc...stuff like that. I hear some say that yea you can do it by working that area hard and cardio and others say that its not possible without reducing bf throughout.

I'm looking to trim a little coating of fat on the sides. Nothing major just a decent pinch. In the middle of bulking right now so I dont want to hit cardio too hard. Besides cleansing the diet do you think spot reduction of fat is legit or just some more exercise bs.
 
So basically to reduce the bit of chub on my handles just tighten up the diet and htit the cardio?

yup.
the only spot reduction that works is on me oldfellar. when I rub that fat, it disappears
