Watching homeland s4 during cardio now...I'm glad the character roster finally changed a little (no spoilers please)

Don't give any details out on the series 4 buddy... it's in my planner ready to watch!

Just plundering my way through 24 and the Wire...

Being off sick has it's benefits! ;)

Fantastic chain of gyms.... I went to the Golds in Las Vegas when I was there, I was amazed how inexpensive it was to train there. The chick behind the counter says that they make their money on merchandise, PT kick-offs and supps - so they only take small change to get people thru the door. Jeez, the place was huge... you needed Sat Nav in there!

Ya golds is sick. The one in Puerta isnt no Vegas golds but I was surprised.

Snow, if you locate the Golds, which you will if you just ask a cabbie, theres a supplement store next door. It has gear in display cabinets (I had to laugh) and theres a pharmacy right down the road as well, across from the water.

I didnt try, might be able to get a script down there, but prolly way more of a hassle than its worth.

Yeah I think the most I would do is get 25 or 50x 10mg proviron and try to slam all of them in the five days I'm there

Not sure I want to pin mexican gear, if I was really sure it was legit I'd frontload 200mg/d primo acetate and continue when I return home @ normal dose...

Weight ?

PM workout

Mon - legs pt.1 - 8-12 reps
10min cardio warmup
SLDL - five sets
superset weighted decline situp - four sets w/ 45lb plate
prone hamstring curl - three dropsets
superset barbell lunges - two sets

Had to scoot over for posing practice...

Now for a bit of a rant. I made it to posing practice only 2 minutes late but the guy in charge of MY condo building called me and asked who my tenants were...I explained I have a company (well, a lady) managing the place and haven't met my new tenant but she's a single mom, that's all I know...

Apparently one of the board members is next door now and complained about "excessive traffic" in and out of my condo...GREAT.

So I got into posing practice late...whatever, cut a little short but on my way back to work the coolant warning lit up on my dashboard...GREAT.

I was less than 2 klicks out so I figured I'd watch the temp gauge and ease it to work...well about 1 minute later, "OIL" comes on and the engine basically felt like it seized...WTF...GREAT x10

Realize my AMA membership expired last month...GREAT.

Bro from work came and picked me up, call/renew membership and tow truck is coming to pick up the wreck...so that's "OK" I guess...except

-everyday I typically hit the gym, then work...driving required (ducati's no good in the snow)
-tomorrow I need to get to the dentist to see why my tooth is still aching @ 9:30
-I waited too long to postpone my traffic court date so now I need to actually go downtown on weds afternoon...
-I literally spent more than two months take-home salary on the engagement ring + mexico within the last two weeks...
-the car is a fucking audi, not a ford...it's never ever cheap to fix
-my realtor said he has buyers who'll write a cheque if the board will approve insuite laundry but apparently it's a no go (found that out while talking to that guy who called me today)

GRRRRRR

Youre not having a very good day man. When it rains it pours bro, hang in there.

Life does go on. My girlfriend got me a Lego advent calendar...how cool is that? We went back to the gym and I was able to do part 2 of leg day...

Mon - legs pt.2 - 10-15 reps
10min cardio warmup
seated quad extension - four sets
highbar ATG squat - four sets (heavy)
front squat - three sets
superset seated calf raise - five pause sets
hack squat - three sets (narrow stance)

Sure makes you appreciate those good days though brother!

I'm sure everything will come together for you - it's just another obstacle to climb.

Weight 211

Car's still kaput, obviously, so my girlfriend was kind enough to wake up and come to the gym with me this morning (AM-anything is against her nature lol)

Tue - chest - 8-12 reps
internal/external shoulder rotation - three sets of each per arm
superset hanging leg raise - four sets
incline DB press - three sets, end with dropset
flat BB bench - four sets, end with strip/dropset
superset lying leg raise - four sets
supersuperset posing in the mirror - many reps/sets
flat DB flyes - three dropsets
chest dips - two sets

AAaaand off to the dentist to see why my tooth is still bothering me, dropped the audi key off at the shop so they can attempt to diagnose...hoping for the best but honestly anticipating (not just bracing for) the worst...

Posing in the mirror between set! Awesome man, great way to make those muscle pop and increase that pump during the workout

For sure. I'm far from pro level but I've listened to those guys speak a lot and if you hear enough of their interviews you'll catch "30 minutes posing" or "one hour posing" when they're reeling off items that go into their day (breakfast, cardio, workout, meal prep, posing)

So I figure 5-10 minutes is the very minimum I should be working on that...and they're amazing posers (most of them) yet still practice their posing all the time?

There's something to it for sure.

PM Cardio:
35min LISS

Was planning to do this anyway but might've skipped it if there hadn't been cake & pie at work today...ended up going with some really light tasting banana creme pie but still has ??? macros lol...what's life though if you can't have a piece of pie during the offseason

posing is some of the most fun you can have each day.

Think I do 5minutes each morning, 5-10 minutes before any shower and a good 5-10 minutes after every gym session once home. Not to mention all the posing I also do in the gym when not talking briefly.
I love the way posing brings out your legs and obliques, muscles that didn't show too well for me until I posed more routinely.

Any of you guys watch 'The Wire'?

Halfway thru series one, slow going, should I stick with it?

Sorry it's nowt to do with the topic SP, but you guys are all sweet, trust your opinions ;)

I haven't watched it, haven't heard much about it - once I catch up on Homeland and Gotham though I'll watch the pilot and throw in my two cents...anticipate that taking close to a month though so hopefully someone can chime in before then...
