What wasthe issue that caused the infection dude? Prolly just a bit of bacteria from you skin that irritaded it?

That's my guess yeah. I had an irritated/ingrown hair follicle in the area that has been bugging me since I shaved for the competition but I think it's much more likely I was slightly-less-than perfect with sterile injection techniques.

Not that you should be less careful going subQ vs IM but I've always been less worried about it so that could've contributed...

So near the beginning of my workout, some fuckwad spilled my coffee, was doing warmup internal/external shoulder rotations on one set of cables, left my cup on the weight stack to indicate it was in use while supersetting hanging leg raises...guy comes along, lowers the carrier and does a curl...blam coffee everywhere

Being in/almost done pct...I need all the fucking coffee. ALL OF IT

Sun - delts - 10-12 reps
10min cardio warmup
internal/external rotations - three sets
hanging leg raise - four sets
seated DB press - four dropsets
smith behind the neck press - four sets
superset lying leg raise - four sets
smith shrugs - heavy, in front - three sets
superset lateral DB raise - three dropsets
smith shrugs - behind the back - three sets
superset front DB raise - two sets
-ran out of time for rear delts; will either do that tonight with some cardio (after dinner w/ inlaws) or tmr with arms

Saw a different doctor to followup on my subQ infection at the medicentre; she was younger and a million times more asian and didn't like the antibiotic the previous guy prescribed so gave me a more powerful one and told me to go get an abdominal wall ultrasound...so yeah guess I'm doing that tomorrow.

Yeah I almost lost it but luckily I was tired/lethargic and didn't have energy to decapitate him at the time

Speaking of...this may end up being a rest day; my usual gym alarm went off at 6am and I couldn't believe it because normally I wake up at least once at 3am to eat/pin GH...

So I said fuck that and re-set it for 8am...woke up again, still tired but made breakfast/coffee...still tired so another hour nap on the couch....

Woke up from the nap STILL tired but dragged my ass to work...that's where I'm at now

I cut the MT2 way back incase that was causing it (I'm loving the skin tone though) and it doesn't seem to have helped

Of course I'm on antibiotics now but typically the side effects are more along the lines of upset stomach/bowels etc...not insane lethargy...

Mon - arms (short version) - 8-12 reps
10min cardio warmup
ez curl - four sets
superset rear delt cable pull apart - three dropsets
rope tricep pushdown - three dropsets
superset hammer strength crunch machine - four sets
bicep curl machine - one-arm/hammer grip - two sets
tricep machine - two sets

PM Cardio:
40min LISS - incline treadmill

Wore proper shoes, felt fine...going to watch more carefully for blisters this go around.

Prepping for mexico.....

leg extension - three pause sets
highbar ATG squats - four sets, end with stripset
superset seated calf raise - two sets, some motherfucker decided to unload the machine
SLDL - three sets
standing calf raise - four sets
good morning - two sets
incline leg press - narrow stance, three sets heavy

I'm seriously considered competing in 2015, but would like to be around the 220 mark on stage

Ass to grass, just used to writing that to remind myself not just parallel - parallel for powerlifting, ass to grass for BB imo.

I want to be 220 as well; if I'm not (or damn close) I will do one more physique show but I'm determined to get big enough for men's heavyweight (no other class options at my height)

AM workout, finally...but was a little rushed unfortunately - got sidetracked watching the latest supernatural episode while eating breakfast (don't ask me how that happened)

Wed - chest - 8-12 reps
10min cardio warmup
internal/external shoulder rotation - three sets each per arm
superset hanging leg raise - four sets
incline DB press - four dropsets
flat BB press - three sets, end with strip/dropset
superset lying leg raise - four sets
flat DB flyes - three sets, end with dropset
superset skullcrushers - three sets

Lots of posing in the mirror, have another session coming on friday that I need to be ready for! Sleepiness, slow recovery and lethargy be damned...musclebeach 2015 here I come :)
 
do u wrap your knees for squats?

I haven't been for a while, but I'm gonna go back to doing it... gives me a sense security, kinda like when you have a good spotter

I don't, no - I actually haven't tried them ever to be honest.

I do wear a belt for my heavier sets (which aren't that heavy since I switched back to highbar) - typically I do a few 15x275 beltless then one or two 10-12 x 315-365 depending on how I'm feeling.

I hate failing on squats, and don't have a spotter...even with pins I just don't like it so I usually puss out a rep early rather than risk a fail...it just messes with my head for weeks afterwards for whatever reason.
 
i'm having decent result doing squats at the end of my workouts, either barbell or smith machine, going ATG lol (doing them at the end, after extensions, curls, presses etc I find I never have to go more than 275/315 and get a nice pump out of it.

now at 40 (nearly 41) I'm feeling and looking better than I ever have, and most of that is just from learning from mistakes (both training and dieting)

I used to use wraps, but I found I was taking too long releasing, adjusting and tightening them between sets...

I bought some 'Eleiko' knee supports instead... like you, I liked the psychological sense of security you get, and now the added benefit that the neoprene traps the heat in, keeping the joint warmer and more flexible

sounds good, I might have to give those a try... I think schiek has some similar knee sleeves

Last time I used HGH I had periods of lethargy like that... some days I felt like a King, but others, especially nearer the start of the run, I felt absolutely fucked!
 
So I had a emergency trip to the dentist this morning:(

The top/back of one side of my mouth was bugging me for the last few weeks and it started to get worse on the weekend but for the last few days i've been trying to make an appt but they were closed monday and remembrance day...

It started REALLY bugging me after pounding my BCAAs after the gym yesterday, I tried to sleep as soon as I got home after work but then woke up last night because my mouth was killing me

Luckily my dentist got me in this morning, I guess somehow I broke a piece of one of the big molars off in the back of my mouth & the nerve was exposed through the hole...he showed me a picture it was seriously a hole...

So my evening sucked, night sucked and today I got a surprise root canal! Waaahhhhhh lol.

And now I'm at work :(
 
Do you grind your teeth? I have for years and use a night guard while sleeping and I have one for the gym cause i really clinch when doing heavier sets.

Learned to use these after a root canal that was caused by grinding and clinching
